Sephora VIB Sale

As you probably already know there is a Sephora sale happening right now. I've rounded up all the things I would suggest buying while you can get 10%, 15%, or 20% off your purchase. (This depends on what level you are.) Some of these items I reach for time and time again and some are new to me. In the makeup department I tried to find things that would be great for fall. (It's always fun to switch it up this time of year.) I also added some great hair care and skin care products!

(I've heard great reviews about this stuff!)
(This is great for me in the winter because it's a little lighter)
(I love the color rosewood/C211)
(Loving the color poet for fall!)
(Aka the BEST conditioner!! I wish it came in liters!)
(Great fall colors.)
(I've been using this lately and really like it.)
(I love my doublewear, but last time I got my makeup done the girl used this and I really liked it. I might buy it when I run out of double wear next time.)
(My friend gave me this a few months ago and I've been loving it ever since)
(At home peels freak me out, but I finally gave these a try and I'm so glad I did. I notice almost immediate results.)
(I'm obsessed with the color Hideaway! It's perfect for fall!)
(Already a great deal even better with the discount)
(Honeymoon looks like a great option for fall.)
(A friend got me this for my birthday and I LOVE it!!)
(If you follow me on Instagram @thefashionablylateblonde you know I'm obsessed with this mask! I use it at least once a week.)
(The name says it all!)
(This really helps untangle my hair.)

Skincare Routine: P.M.

Back in June I shared my A.M. skincare routine with y’all and promised my p.m. routine would follow in a couple of days. Well fast forward a few months and I am finally getting around to sharing my p.m. skincare routine. There are still some few products I want to add, but this is what I currently do every night. (Except the occasional Saturday, I always try to do this no matter how many drinks I’ve had or how dreamy my bed sounds.)

Have y’all heard of double cleansing? If not it’s basically when you use a product to take off all your makeup/dirt & grim from the day before you actually wash your face! That’s where this product comes in. It starts off as a solid and quickly melts into oil and removes all your makeup. I love this stuff! I can definitely tell a difference when I don’t use it.
After I use my cleansing balm, and wash that off, I use Purity facial wash. The reason I use this over Tula at night is that I really feel this gets any last traces of makeup off. Most people don’t mix cleansers, but this seems to work for me. If you wanted to pick between one of my cleansers I would definitely say Tula. However, I like using both for different reasons.
This stuff is awesome! I had heard/read a ton of rave reviews and thought I would give this a try. I’ve really noticed a difference in my under eye area since using this. You can almost feel it turn from a cream to a liquid as you tap it on your skin. (You could use this product for day and night if you wanted.)
Step 4. Serum
I have two “serums” pictured here because I like them both, and I have yet to commit to one. They are both very different, and I like them both A LOT! I’m almost out and need to commit to one, but I'm not sure which one so I’ll tell you what I like about both of them.
This does exactly what it says it does. I feel like the anti-aging part of this really works. I have noticed a big difference in my forehead since using this. I also like that it’s a true serum so it feels lite on your skin.
This stuff is also V true to its name, and helps reduce lines. I feel like I see almost an immediate reduction in lines on my forehead when I use this. It’s different than a serum and feels almost like a cream. It also has a lot of vitamin C in it and I use vitamin C in my morning routine.
I really have no idea which of these I will choose, but I need to decide.
I definitely love Tula products. This was the first moisturizer I could use with a serum on a regular basis and my skin would not break out or get really oily. This is definitely my Holy Grail moisturizer!
Optional in-between Step 2 & 3 Origins Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel
I say optional because you might not have a breakout every night. If you do though, this stuff is AHMAZING! It will literally get rid of your zit in 2-3 days. I put a tiny dab on my zit and continue on with the rest of my routine. I usually notice a difference the next day, and by day 2 it’s barely noticeable!

What is your nighttime routine? Do you use any of these products? I’d love to hear about it in the comments. I’m always looking for new products!

Lilac Lace-up

Happy Wednesday!
I can’t believe it’s only Wednesday. It’s already been a really long week. (Thankful there’s a long weekend ahead!)
Today I want to share this super cute tank with y’all that I wore this past weekend, to tour a wedding venue. I actually picked it up during the Nsale, but I never got around to shooting any of my Nsale picks because things were going in and out of stock so fast. (I did notice a few weeks ago they did a pretty big restock of most Nsale product.)
This tank caught my eye for a few reasons. The main thing I like is the lace up detail and the ruffles. It reminds me of this tank that is always selling out. (It was actually cheaper than this tank during the sale too!) I also love the color! If you have followed me for a while you know I am drawn to neutrals. If it comes in black or white that’s probably the first color I’m going to grab. This time I skipped the black tank, and went straight for the lilac. It’s such a pretty color. I paired it here with white denim and nude heels, which is great for the last few days/weeks of summer. When cooler weather finally does come around, I plan on wearing it with black denim, a leather jacket, and these mules. That’s the perfect Friday night outfit in my opinion.

How do y’all feel about buying Nsale items now that the sale is over? Do you skip over them because you know they were deeply discounted a few weeks ago? Since I noticed a lot of items back in stock, I wanted to start sharing some of my purchases with you. I know it’s annoying that the prices are back to normal; however, I promise these pieces are worth it!

Sheer Summer Shirt

Summer isn’t over just yet and I have the perfect shirt you need to grab for the last few weeks of the season. (Although let’s be honest, it’s going to be 85+ degrees until sometime in October!!)
This semi-sheer button down has been a favorite of mine all summer long.  It’s a piece I reach for over and over again! I love how lightweight it is even though the sleeves are elbow length. I love it with a pair of shorts, layered necklaces and cute flats. And if you’re thinking that I’m crazy for telling you to buy a “summer” piece at the end of August let me tell you how this can also be a GREAT fall option. I’m thinking black distressed skinny jeans, black booties, layered necklaces and even a fun hat for the perfect brunch look. You could also loose the hat and throw on a leather jacket and heels for a night out! Also, if white isn’t your thing for fall it comes in black and a really pretty blue color. The possibilities are endless and I promise you will not regret buying this shirt!

An Evening in the West Village

Hi friends!
Today I’m sharing my last outfit from my NYC trip in June!
This was definitely one of my favorite outfits I wore. I can’t tell y’all how many denim jumpsuits I saw this summer. This one really caught my eye with the wide legs, ruffle sleeves and it has the cutest open lace up back! I normally would pair this with heels, but in NYC that is just not always the best option. I wasn’t sure if this night would entail a ton of walking so I stuck with flats.
This was my second favorite night in the city so I thought I would share what we did. (My first was obviously the night I got engaged.)
We started the evening at While We Were Young. If you are in the city this is a MUST! First of all the place itself is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. Their drinks are equally as beautiful and delicious. And while I didn’t actually try the truffle fries they did look really tasty. After we finished our drinks we walked a few blocks and stumbled upon the beautiful brownstone in these photos. (Someone told me it belongs to Steven Tyler, but I don’t know if that’s actually true.) After a few quick pictures we went to Aunt Jake’s for dinner. This place has been on my list the last 2 or 3 trips and I was so happy to finally try it. The food was probably the best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. They make all of it fresh right there and it was absolutely amazing. We both finished our entire bowls and I didn’t even regret it! After dinner we split a bottle rosé at a wine bar across the street and then walked through Washington Square Park.
It was a great night spent with my best friend at some amazing places in the West Village. I would highly recommend them all.
