Christmas Day Outfit Inspiration

Merry Christmas Eve!!
I cannot believe the big day is almost here! This year has flown by so quickly! What are your plans today? Are you relaxing and spending time with family/friends or are you running around like crazy picking up last minute gifts & wrapping them all?? We are definitely doing the second one. haha Every year I swear to myself that I am going to shop early and wrap things a week ahead of time. I'll be sure to let you know if that ever happens.
If you are super busy today and don't have time to plan an outfit for tomorrow I've got you covered. You probably have similar pieces in your closet or you could always pick up the exact pieces while you're out running around. haha
I have been wearing this plain non stop since I picked it up in November. It just screams Christmas to me. I am also OBSESSED with this vest. It's the perfect color and goes with everything. You can wear it well into January and February too! I would also highly suggest the Spanx leggings. These will help you look slim while eating an entire plate of Christmas cookies. (No judgement!) Top it off with a beanie to keep your ears warm while going from house to house. (If that's how your family does Christmas.)

Top: Old Navy | Vest: Target (similar here & here coat version here) | Leggings: Spanx | Booties: JustFab (JustFab is a subscription site. Similar herehere, & LOVE these) | Beanie: C.C. | Sunnies: Old (similar here & here) | Lipstick: Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy spending this time with loved ones! I also want to take this time to tell you I truly appreciate each and every one of you that visit the blog. I love putting posts together, trying new products, and finding deals & steals that you can wear over and over again.

Holiday Ready: Smile Edition

With all the holiday parties happening it’s important to make sure you are ready for all those fun gatherings. Last week I talked about what to wear to said parties and this week I want to talk about something else I do to get holiday ready. I’m constantly wearing red lipstick this time of year and nothing goes better with a bold lip than a white smile. I love coffee and red wine which can leave my smile dull & stained. To keep my teeth nice and white I use Smile Brilliant at home teeth whitening kit! I love that I can do it on my time (usually at night while catching up on shows or blog stuff) in the comfort of my own home. I just put the whitening gel in the trays and pop them in. The trays make it super easy because you don’t have to worry about them staying on like you do with strips. Plus, if you’re short on time that isn’t a problem either. I’ve seen results with as little as 40 minutes a day! Did I also mention if you have sensitive teeth like me, you can still use their product? After I whiten I put the desensitizing gel in the trays and leave them on for about 30 minutes. The desensitizing gel is a total lifesaver. With other whitening systems I would have to wait DAYS between whitening but because of the desensitizing gel I can use Smile Brilliant every single day without sensitivity issues.

These are my before and after photos from the first time I used their whitening system.

Overall, I cannot recommend Smile Brilliant enough. If your smile needs a little refresh I have some great news! Smile Brilliant has been nice enough to gift one of my readers a whitening system of their own! You’ll get the whole kit which includes paste & molds to create your trays plus whitening gel! All you have to do is click here to enter!
You can also use code 'fashionablylateblonde15' for $15 off your order.

Christmas Plaid

Here we are one week away from the big day! I literally cannot believe Christmas is in exactly one week! If you're anything like me, you still have lots of activities left on your Christmas to-do list. (We still have the lights in St. Augustine, lights in Jax Beach, some shopping & our Christmas party!)
Today's outfit is great for any Christmas adventures you still have on your agenda.
I love the layered look with this sweater. The sleeves are slightly cropped so the plaid peeks out perfectly! Can we also talk about how perfect this plaid is? I picked it up early last month and I have not been able to stop wearing it this holiday season!

Sweater: H&M old (similar here, here & here) | Plaid: Old Navy | Denim: Topshop | Boots: Sam Edelman | Purse: Kate Spade old (similar here & here) | Sunnies: Lulu's sold out (similar here) | Lipstick: Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red
What do you have left to do before December 25th? As you can see above, I still have lots to do and not a lot of time! I hope y'all have a great week and come back on Thursday for a fun giveaway!

Holiday Cocktail Attire

The holidays are officially in full swing, which also means holiday parties are in full swing! The best part about holiday parties in my opinion is getting to dress up. Break out those sequins that have been sitting in your closet since New Year’s Eve last year. Dust off that cocktail dress you love but never have an excuse to wear. Put on that red lipstick you only wear on the occasional date night. I mean, heck, hrow on a sequin blazer over your cocktail dress with a red lip!! Whatever it may be I love getting a little more dressed up than usual for all the holiday gatherings! Last week we had J’s company Christmas Party, which was casino themed and cocktail attire. I panicked a little because I honestly don’t have that many nice dresses. He also sprang it on me VERY last minute. Luckily my friend rescued me and let me shop her closet. I picked out this LBD that is perfect for any holiday party you may be attending. The silhouette is super flattering and I love the little bit of lace at the bottom. Since it’s black you have a blank canvas for shoes, jewelry, makeup and coats. As you can see I paired mine with red lips and my favorite leopard coat. Total statement piece!!
I’ve linked this dress and a couple other pieces I think would be perfect for holiday parties. (I decided not to link any sequin pieces just yet. I’ll save all those bad boys for my NYE post.)

Dress: Lulu's (also love thisthisthis, this & this) | Jacket: Old (very similar hereherehere & here) | Shoes: Steve Madden | Sunnies: Sonix old (similar here) | Lipstick: Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red

Have y’all been to any holiday parties yet? If so, what did you wear? I’d love to hear all about it in the comments.

Gift Guide: Home/Hostess

Another day another gift guide!
I decided to combine two ideas so I give you gift guide for the home/hostess. There are so many different things and price points on this gift guide. There's some great options for all those holiday parties you will be heading to this season. There's also options for your friend/family member that just bought a house, is updating their house or just likes new things for their home.
The price points are all over the place so there's something for everyone!
Perfect to bring to a holiday get together because your host/hostess can break it out right away!
I personally LOVE stemless wine glasses. I feel like there's less chance for breaks! If you like stems these are GORGEOUS!!
This is such a great hostess gift! I personally could never have enough candles. This brand in the rose is one of my absolute favs!!!
Bring a nice bottle of wine and then they have a cute bag to set on their bar cart or kitchen counter.
I want some of these so bad. Then I can have Alexa do EVERYTHING for me!!
Tie onto a bottle of wine for a great hostess gift!
Buy a few to personalize bottles throughout the holiday season.

Winter Neutrals

Happy Tuesday!
Today was technically my Monday and I have to say it definitely had all the Monday after vacation vibes!!
I will say talking to y'all about this outfit is probably the highlight of my day! Let's get to it, shall we?
Last week temps dipped pretty low here in Florida. I'm talking lows in the 30's and highs in the 50's. I knew it was the perfect time to break out my new faux fur vest. I have been dying to wear this bad boy since I got it back in October! It's definitely my favorite Fall purchase. You need to RUN to your local Target and pick one up for yourself. (Or, ya know, you could order it online here.) It's so luxe and expensive looking, but it rings in just under $40! (I seriously had someone ask me if it was real fur!!)
I styled it with all neutrals last week for this look. As most of you know I'm a HUGE fan of neutrals. The thing I really love about this outfit is that it's all different shades of whites & creams but they all work so well together. Sometimes when you try to put a monochromatic look together it doesn't turn out quite right. However, sometimes you get lucky and it turns out perfectly.

Top: H&M old (similar herehere, & here) | Vest: Target | Jeans: Old Navy | Beanie: C.C. | Boots: Old (similar here & here) | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Lipstick: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina

Stay tuned later this week for a few more gift guides. I have 2-3 more I want to put together  and I'm making it my goal to have them done this week! I'm also going to attempt a 5 on Friday this week. (Very ambitious!!)
