Gift Guide for Him

Today I'm back with another gift guide. This is actually my best gift guide each year... the gift guide for him!
I think this year I have a lot of different, new and unique items. J and one of my guy friends helped me put this together. It's definitely guy approved. I hope this helps you when shopping for your dad, brother, husband, boyfriend, etc.

This bag is so cool. Definitely watch the video to get the full effect.
This is great for travel.
Jack Black is such a great brand to ease guys into skin care.
J & my friend have airpods and they both said to put the new ones on the list. They are supposedly noise cancelling and fit better in your ears.
This is a super cool wallet alternative. A little pricey but it also prevents RF theft.
These are so cool. I definitely put these on our registry for J.
This seems so cool to me. Great gift for an outdoor runner that lives in colder climates.
These are a great stocking stuffer for the guy in your life that wears dress shirts every day.
This is so cool I want one for myself. If you have an apple lover in your life that has the iphone, apple watch and airpods this is a perfect gift!
Are you sick of your husband, fiance, or boyfriend asking you where things are? This is for you. J will definitely be getting one of these this year. I just might get the 4 pack!
If you have a sports lover in their life getting them their favorite players jersey is always a good idea.
I saw this on GMA for the first time a few weeks ago and thought it was so cool. If the guy in your life is super active this is a great gift. If you are also active you can benefit from this too. Win Win!
I love this because it's personalized. It would look super cute on a bar cart. Bonus: You can fill it with their favorite whiskey.
My friend has one of these and it's so cool. Great for riding bikes or going to the beach/pool.
I like that this is so thin and looks like a credit card.
I think these are great because of the waterproof aspect. They are also super stylish.

This is always one of my best performing gift guides. I'd love to hear what you bought from this guide and for who. Guys can be so hard to shop for so I always love putting this one together. I'm so appreciative to J and my friends that help me with this each year for ya'll. Hope it helps!

Thanksgiving Neutrals

Happy Tuesday friends!
I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week! I personally am so excited. I can't wait to eat all the yummy food and spend time with friends and family.
If you are still trying to figure out what to wear for the big day I've got ya covered.
This look is definitely super casual but super cozy.
Our Thanksgiving usually consists of the turkey trot in the morning ,followed by hanging with friends at Pete's Bar, (It's a Jacksonville thing. You can read about it here.) then dinner time and finally some black Friday shopping. I love that this look can take me through all the activities our day has in store. (Minus the turkey trot of course. )
I picked up this sweater during the Nsale and I'm so excited I can finally wear it. My boots are also from the Nsale last year. I paired these with white jeans to keep the neutral pallet going. Thankfully I don't like cranberry sauce so I don't really have to worry about spills. (Other than red wine.)
I've linked a couple other sweater options I love that would go perfectly with white jeans and these boots. The best news is you can still get all of these items in plenty of time for Thanksgiving next week! One less thing to worry about while you are picking up all the things you need to cook!

Sweater: Nordstrom (also love thisthis & this) | Jeans: Old Navy | Boots: Sam Edelman | Sunnies: Target | Earrings: Francesca's | Lipgloss: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lipgloss in Pillow Talk
If you dress up a little more for Thanksgiving make sure you check out the blog on Thursday. I'll be sharing another outfit that's a little more dressy.

Christmas Decor

Happy Friday!
I know it's not even close to Thanksgiving, but I feel like everyone already has their Christmas decor up. (I don't...yet. That will change next weekend.)
Since so many people are already decorating for Christmas I wanted to do a post of Christmas decor.
Pretty much everything in this post is from Target. (With the exception of the Christmas tree.)
It's all super affordable and I would say I own 75% of the product. (Or something very similar.)
If you are in need of new or additional decor, you should definitely check the products below. Target kills it every year, but they really outdid themselves this time.
This is so cute to place in a bedroom or by your TV stand or fire place.
I NEED this wreath. The price is also UNBELIEVABLE.
J and I have these. His is brown and mine is white.
This is such a statement piece. I would use this to replace some art or something already hanging in my home.
I bought this last year on Black Friday. They have a bunch of different color options.
We do a real tree, but if we did a fake one this one seems great! Super affordable too.
This is Ramsey's stocking.
I just bought these in this size and the larger size!
I love these little ornaments.
I love this saying. Also, this is a super affordable pillow.
I just bought this last week. Can't wait to see them on my tree.
I love that it's a stocking hanger, but also a decor piece.
This candle smells good, is so pretty, andddd under $10!!!
Obviously need these for my tree. This ornament comes in multiple colors. I love the pink!
I clearly need all the wreaths and this one is no exception.
I need a wreath hanger for all the wreaths I want in my house. I just bought this one last week.
This will definitely be making it's way home with me at some point.
I feel like this is a new thing I'm seeing this year. I'm into it. You can still use your tree skirt too!
Garland can be super expensive. This one is under $25 and looks like good quality.
I saw this guy in store the other day and wanted to bring him home. I do have a different gold nutcracker that I love though.
This is very similar to the tree skirt I have. I think the brown would look really nice with the white tree collar linked above.

Have you decorated for Christmas yet? Are you waiting until after Thanksgiving?
I'd love for you to weigh in below.
Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for reading!

Olive Sweater Weather

Happy Friday eve!! (Today is my actual Friday so I am pretty stoked! Although I took Friday off to do wedding stuff and there is a TON to do.)
I'm super excited to share today's outfit with you for a few reasons.
Let's start with the fact that this outfit is actually appropriate to wear right now. The weather has been so nice the last couple days. I'm talking lows in the 40's and 50's and the high in the 60's. I am loving it!!
Now let's talk about the actual outfit.
I am obsessed with this cardigan. I love that it's leopard (obviously!!!), but I also love that the base is an olive color. Olive is one of my favorite fall colors. Add in my favorite fall print and I'm sold! This piece is a new arrival this week on Parkside Harbor so make sure you snag it fast. (I also forgot to mention that it is SUPER soft! Perfect for snuggling up in these colder temps.)
I also want to take a minute to talk about these boots. I snagged them during the Nsale and finally got to bust them out. They are amazing quality and I can't wait to wear them all winter long. I was debating the flat pair or the heeled pair and ultimately the heeled pair won. They are super comfortable so I have 0 regrets. The best part is they are still available and currently 33% off. I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I paid for them back in July!! Hurry and snag yourself a pair before they sell out!

Tank: Nordstrom | Cardigan: Parkside Harbor | Jeans: Topshop  | Boots: Marc Fisher | Sunnies: Amazon | Lipstick: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk

Anyway, I hope y'all have a great weekend! We will be doing wedding planning for most of it. We are taking our best friends to dinner on Friday night and I'm so excited! We are trying this new Italian place that everyone has been to and RAVESSSSS about!
Thanks for stopping by. Make sure you come back tomorrow for some Holiday content!

Facial PT 3

I'm back to share my third and final installment in my facial series.
This time we did things a little differently. I feel like the other two times (You can read part 1 here & part 2 here) were different, but this time was really different. Read on to see what we did this time around.
It started off with a double cleanse like usual. This time it was really necessary because I actually wore makeup. The second cleansing helped to exfoliate my skin. I feel like it was getting it nice and ready for the next step. Normally Rayanna would use the ultrasonic and then a microdermabrasion, but she was running a special this month that I got to try instead. The special was a Yam & Pumpkin enzyme peel. Not going to lie... the word peel scared me a little. (Read my first post about Samantha from Sex & the City.) However, I trust Rayanna completely and know she would never do anything like that to my skin!
Now if you read the other 2 posts you might be thinking "Katie, you get an enzyme mask every time" and you would be correct. However, and enzyme mask and an enzyme peel are pretty different. This one was much more intense which is why Rayanna skipped the ultrasonic and microdermabrasion. I normally have somewhat sensitive skin so Rayanna kept checking to see how my skin was feeling. I would describe the feeling overall as a tingle. It never got too intense which was nice. I was able to leave it on for a good amount of time and let it really go to work! When the time came to take the peel off my skin was SUPER red. (Totally normal. You can see photos below. Still nothing like Samantha from Sex & the City.)
Rayanna immediately put Chamomile tonic on after to help neutralize the enzymes and tone down the redness. It felt really nice after the tingling sensation for 10-15 minutes.  After that is was time for one of my favorites... a facial massage with vitamin C serum. The one she uses smells SOOOO good. I also just love a good vitamin C serum. I use one every morning. After that she did the balancing gel mask which also helped to tone down the redness from the peel. (You can see a huge difference in the photos below.)
After that it was time for the calming serum, eye cream, lip treatment, and Viola! All done!
This was probably my favorite experience yet. I have LOVED all my facials but something about this peel just made this one my favorite. I am so so thankful Rayanna has helped me get my skin in "shape". hah. She has also helped my at home regimen. (I will be sharing that soon.)  If I can keep up with my exfoliating at home, which I have been my skin should be perfect for my wedding in less than 2 months.
 Pre-facial
 After double cleanse
 After enzyme peel
 Balancing gel mask
End result!!

For all you brides (and non brides) in search of an esthetician to get your skin wedding ready you should definitely check out Rayanna! She is the sweetest person and super knowledgeable. She also just changed the name of her company and is no longer Beautifully Bare. You can find her instead at Royalty Beauty & Boutique. (Instagram: Royalty_Beauty_and_Boutique)
Don't forget to use code "KATIE10" for $10 off your first service. (Can be any service not just facials.)

Leopard Skirt

It's been a solid week and a half since I shared my favorite print with y'all so here I am. Today I have a great leopard print skirt to show you.  I'm sure y'all are so so sick of seeing leopard, but I just can't help myself. It's everywhere and I want it all!
This skirt is from my favorite boutique and I was with her when she bought it at market. As soon as she bought it I knew I was going to have to have it. I love that you can style it a couple different ways. The first thing that comes to mind for me is a black tank or long sleeve. However, it's nice to challenge yourself and think of something different from time to time. This sweater was the second thing that came to mind. I've had it for years and love to style it with skirts. (See here from 3 years ago.)
This is a great fall outfit in my book. It would also be a great option for Thanksgiving. It's a little dressy but not too over the top. The skirt also has elastic in the back so you won't feel constricted after all the yummy food!
Hurry and grab one before it sells out!

Sweater: H&M old (similar herehere, & here) | Skirt: Parkside Harbor | Booties: Old (similar here & here) | Sunnies: Amazon | Lipstick: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk | Watch Band: Amazon

Holiday Gift Guide: Beauty Edition

HAPPY NOVEMBER 1st!!!
This year I am on top of things (slightly) and have my first gift guide ready for y'all!
Today is all about beauty. This is great place to get ideas for your mom, sister, girlfriends, sister-in-law, really any beauty loving gal in your life.
I had always planned for this to be the first gift guide I posted, but I have some great news to accompany it too. Sephora is doing their holiday sale starting today for Rouge members and November 7th for VIB and Beauty Insiders. Rouge members get 20% off their purchase, VIB 15% off, and Beauty Insiders get 10%. I love when they do this because higher end beauty brands NEVER go on sale. For this specific reason I would say about 80% of the stuff below is from Sephora. I would highly encourage you to start buying early if you have the discount! (They usually do another one closer to Christmas, but that could always change.)
Check out my picks below.

This stuff is amazing. It says it's a sleep mask, but I use it during the day too. This has the original and 2 other flavors.
I haven't tried this and honestly hadn't heard of it until I started putting this guide together. I would say this is for the person who is obsessed it beauty and has everything already. (PS: It's to help tone the face.)
I love this eyeliner. You get 3 for $20. The burgundy shade seems really pretty for holiday parties.
This is such a great gift item! It's also under $10 which is AMAZING!
I love the Brazilian Bum Bum cream. I'm not sure if the candle is the same scent but if it is I would 10/10 recommend. It smells so heavenly.
Another option for your beauty obsessed friend that has everything. I also think this is a great gift for mom.
I love their hand cream. You get 4 for under $20!
I haven't personally used this but I have heard nothing but rave reviews.
Drunk Elephant is a great brand. I chose this kit because it has the Baby Facial in it.
I want this for myself so so bad.
This is such a great deal. You get a hairdryer, straightener, round brush, and 4 products for $300!!
I love Kiehl's products! I don't think I've ever tried one and didn't like it.
Great for someone that sleeps with their hair up. (All my extension gals!)
I love these so much. The fact that they're gold just makes them feel that much more luxurious.
I love mini lipsticks. I literally don't think I have ever finished a lipstick because I have so many. That is why I think minis are so great.
I love the rose one! I never travel without it. I want to try the other 2.
The colors in this are so pretty for holiday.
I am obsessed with this color. I wear it almost every single day!
This is a really nice gift. Jo Malone smells amazing!
I have never used this, but have seen it used and can tell you that it works!
