More

TGIF y’all!
Jk my Friday was actually Wednesday as I’m currently in NYC.
I was originally going to post a different outfit today but when I went to shoot it was gloomy and rainy so I thought a more comfy outfit would be appropriate to watch the storms roll in. This is my favorite sweatshirt for a couple reasons. First of all I love the saying. I could definitely use more of all these things especially more weekends, sleep, and shopping. hehe. The second reason I am obsessed with this sweatshirt is because it is the softest thing I have ever felt. I’m sure people say that about a lot of things but y’all I am not exaggerating by any means here. I liked the quote but the feel of it was what really sold me. I think this is the perfect outfit for weekends because I feel put together enough to run errands but could also take a mid afternoon nap!
I hope your weekend is full of whatever you want more of! Mine will be full or more brunches, more time outside, and more time with my best friend!

P.S. Happy early Halloween! What is everyone dressing up as tomorrow? I am still undecided but promise to share on Instagram (@TheFashionablyLateBlonde) when I decided.

Make-up Wednesday? September Ipsy Bag

Hey y’all!
Happy hump day!
Normally I do makeup Monday but I went out of town this past weekend and got behind. Therefore, it’s Makeup Monday on Wednesday. Ha-ha.
Today I’m reviewing my September Ipsy bag product by product.

The first item in my bag, and possibly my favorite of the month, was a lipstick from City Color Cosmetics in One Nightstand. I love the color, and it’s similar to another shade I have, but this one is creamier. The formula is really rich and it has staying power. The price point is great and they have many shades to choose from.

The second product in my bag was a highlighter by Temptu. I must say I felt like this was a bit of a rip off as this is for an airbrush makeup system. They said it could be used with your fingers but when I did that, I still didn’t like it. It was extremely pink and didn’t blend well. Again, I was a little unhappy with this one.

The third item in my bag was The Phoenix, which is a hand/body lotion from Not Soap Radio. I’m going be honest and tell you I have not tried this. I am allergic to a lot of scented things especially body lotions and perfumes. I need to do some more research on this before I try it myself. I’m so sorry I can’t give you a real review on this. L Stupid allergies!

Next up was the Glam Glow Brightening Treatment. I was excited to try this product as I have heard good things about it. Let me start by saying it smells AHMAZING! It was extremely gritty which was great for exfoliating. I had just used my clarisonic so I felt like my face got a little too much exfoliating that evening. #oops after I washed the mask off my skin was really soft and smooth and it left me with a nice clean glow! I really liked this product.

Last up was Pixi by Petra Brow Powder Trio. (What I linked is different because the exact thing was special for ipsy.) I like this product for the most part since brows are all the rage right now. It gives you a light and dark color for your brows and a highlighter. The downside to this product is that it’s extremely small and there are no separators so the powders can easily get mixed together when you might not want that.

Overall, this bag was my least favorite. While I did get some good stuff, I think the airbrush thing really let me down. I also wish there were a way for me to not get lotions since I can’t really use them. I would still highly recommend signing up for ipsy if you have been thinking about it as I think it’s a fun way to learn about new products!

Leopard Love

Happy Friday lovelies!!
I have to tell you I’m completely obsessed with this jacket. I love faux fur, and I love leopard; which means this is a dream come true!
I bought it back in July when it was on super duper sale ($35!!!!!), and have been dying to wear it ever since.
Even though its late October people probably thought, I was crazy when they saw me shooting this outfit. (It still gets close to 90 degrees here.)
Anyway, I really wanted to style this outfit for 2 reasons. The first is probably because I’m overly excited about my visit to NYC next week. The second reason is I wanted to post this before the jacket sells out. In addition, it’s still on sale, although it’s not $35!
Sadly, I might not get a lot of use out of this jacket living in Florida but that’s ok. It’s extremely lux and I know I will get my money’s worth out of it when visiting NYC and NC where my family lives!
Hope y’all have a great weekend filled with jacket appropriate weather and I’ll see ya on Monday!

Wish List Wednesday

I thought I would put together a little list of some things I have been eyeing lately. I’ll probably do this post once a month, just to alert y’all to some great stuff that I may not have pulled the trigger on yet, but thinking about doing so soon! Hope you enjoy.

1.     I have these boots in taupe and really want to get them in black! If you don’t have them, yet they are a great buy, and perfect Stuart Weitzman knockoffs.
2.     I really need a new weekend bag, and might be buying this ASAP before my trip next week.
3.     I love lipstick and really want this new MAC color called Deep Love.
4.     I am in desperate need of a new wallet, and these glitter ones from Kate Spade are just too cute!
5.     The fringe trend is so big right now, and I’m obsessed with it on leather jackets!
6.     My phone case broke last week so I really need a new one. I could do a whole wish list on phone cases alone, but this one is at the top of my list!
7.     I’ve been lusting over the naked smoky pallet since it came out. I have not purchased it yet because I have so many pallets but maybe soon.
8.     I always love adding a new faux fur vest to my collection, and this one is so trendy and cute! I have a feeling it might be making its way into my closet real soon!
