Quarter Zip Sweater

 WOW!
It's been a while.
Between Elle starting daycare, me going back to work, a bit of a sleep regression and so much more I have just been so busy.
I've had a million content ideas and just no time to get them done.
This past weekend I told myself I would really start trying to be better about getting blog posts, reels, etc. done.
Let's talk about today's outfit.
I bought this sweater at the end of last year and never really got the chance to wear it. Since it's a sweater I originally bought it to wear with jeans. However, I saw someone style a similar piece with bike shorts the other day and thought it was so cute I needed to recreate it!
I feel like it makes you look somewhat put together, but is still super comfy and easy to throw on.
Easy, comfy and put together is exactly what I look for these days when planning outfits so expect to see this on repeat over the next couple months.
I've also been obsessed with wearing my hair in these clips lately. I feel like I'm always holding Elle and she is grabbing EVERYTHING, so this keeps my hair out of my face and out of her hands!

Linen Pants

Linen is the fabric of Summer.
And linen pants are definitely a Summer wardrobe must-have.
I usually have a hard time with linen pants. I feel like the just kind of hang there and don't really do anything for my body. When I saw these I thought they were so flattering.
I love how wide the leg is, but they are slightly fitted in the thigh area.
I kept things simple here with a white tank and heels. (I have to wear heels because they are pretty long.)
I also think they would look really cool with white sneakers and a slightly oversized button down shirt.
You could really style these a million different ways. Definitely something to snag for these last few weeks of Summer.

Marc Jacobs The Tote Review

You've probably seen this bag all over the place.
I feel like it really started gaining popularity last Spring.
Now that I've had it for a little over a year I thought I would write a review on it.
Let me just start this review by saying I absolutely love this bag.
When I was browsing Marc Jacobs in NYC last Spring I was immediately drawn to this bag. I initially liked the smaller one because it had the crossbody strap. Ultimately, I decided to go with the bigger one just knowing myself and what I would use more. I am so glad I did because this really has been my go-to bag.
I love a large bag that can hold all my things and this one definitely checks that box. It can hold so much stuff. Maybe even too much stuff. I used it as a travel bag last fall and it was pretty heavy with the amount of things I crammed in there. I also plan to use it as my work bag when it's time to go back in the office this Fall. Being a new mom you could also use it as a diaper bag. Although if you choose to do so, I highly suggest you get this insert to organize everything.
I also love that it has the zip closure so you can make sure your things are secure. (That's my biggest negative on bags like my LV Neverfull.)
The straps are also nice and long, which makes it easy to carry. You don't feel like it's super bulky and stuck in your armpit. I feel like this is especially great when you have a lot of stuff in there.
I think one of the best things about this bag is that it comes in a ton of color options and they are constantly coming out with more. It also comes in different materials. Mine is the canvas material, but I also really love the leather one and the sherpa one they did last Fall/Winter.
Overall, I would highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a large tote that doesn't break the bank. I feel like this is a classic designer bag for a fraction of the price some other large tote style bags cost.
My one knock would be if you get the color and material option I went with (Beige canvas) make sure you scotch guard it. Especially if you plan to use it in an everyday setting or for travel. I would honestly scotch guard any color if you get the canvas material.

If you are in the market for this bag I hope you found this review helpful. I honestly found myself reaching for this bag more than my Neverfull last Fall. (Granted I only have the MM so this bag is much larger.)
Let me know if you have any questions about The Tote and I would be more than happy to answer them.

I'm honestly thinking of buying this.
Buying this for Elle!
I was between this stroller and the UPPABaby. This is also a really good price.
I love this color!
I have this sweatshirt from a few years ago. I love it and it's perfectly oversized if you take your normal size.
I've heard such great things about these leggings. They were always out of my size when I was pregnant. I will definitely try them next pregnancy.
These are my favorite running shoes, even though I don't run anymore.
Full size and travel size of my favorite facial cleanser and moisturizer.
This is my absolute favorite hand cream. It feels so luxurious.
I LOVE this cleansing balm. It's so lux!
I've heard really good things about this brand. Especially if you travel a lot it works well internationally.
Get the matching shorts for a totally chic/on trend look.

This comes in a ton of color options. Always a top seller.
I've had my eye on these for a while. I might finally pull the trigger.

I'm obsessed with this color!
My favorite running shoe.
I got this in white last year and need more colors.
I love this green color for Fall.
Trying to convince myself to get this in something other than white. I noticed the other day that the amount of white t-shirts I have is concerning.
They have lots of different size options.
Certain colors will sell out QUICK!
These will go quick. Especially in common sizes.
These have gone so quick in years past.

This would make a really nice hostess gift.
Great gift option for a friend. Especially if they have a new baby.

This would be a really cute gift with a pair of earrings inside.
This blanket is so soft and such an amazing price. Great hostess gift or for your mom or MIL.
These pajamas are so nice and would be such a good gift.
This is a great item to tell your husband to buy for your now and gift to you for Christmas. (Or just ask him if you can use it now.)
Great stocking stuffer.
Slippers... enough said. They always make a great gift.
This stuff is so luxurious. It would make a great gift for a friend, boss or co-worker.
This is the perfect gift for the active person in your life.
I love buying sets and then breaking them up. These candles are so nice and you could gift each one to someone different. Good if you have a group of co-workers or friends to buy for.

I hope you are able to get everything on your wishlist. I highly suggest looking through your closet and making a list of what you actually need. It's very easy to get carried away during the sale. (Speaking from experience.) It is also not worth going into debt over. Nothing is that good!
I also just want to say that I so appreciate any of my links that you may use to shop. I do receive a small commission and I am very thankful when y'all use them. It also helps me to know what you like.

Resort Dress

I feel like my uniform this Summer has been dresses and my favorite hat.
I just can't stop.
When I saw this dress it kind of gave me pajama vibes, but also really nice resort wear vibes.
I would definitely pack this if I was going somewhere tropical for vacation. You could use it as a coverup or for a more casual dinner look. Double duty if you are someone that likes to pack light when traveling.
I paired it with these amazing rope sandals I just snagged. I think they are sold out again, but definitely hit the notify button because they have come back in stock once already. (I'll also link some similar options.)

Dress: H&M | Shoes: H&M (similar herehere, & here) | Hat: Lack of Color | Bag: Marc Jacobs | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Necklace: Etsy | Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk with Buxom Full-On Lip Plumping Lip Cream in Creamsicle

How's everyone's Summer so far? Any fun vacation plans? We are laying low and just staying in town this Summer. I think we are going to plan a fun family trip for the Fall though and I can't wait. I'm definitely thinking somewhere with cooler weather. haha I am already over this Summer heat.
