Biker Shorts meets Office Blazer

Biker shorts are definitely not a new trend. I showed you here how I was finally getting on board with them. (I wasn't the biggest fan when they first came out.) Well, now I think it's safe to say that I LOVE my biker shorts. I even bought a leopard pair recently. Since I love this style so much now I wanted to show you another way to style them.
I have seen similar looks on pinterest and instagram and always thought it looked so good. I really didn't think I would be able to pull this off, but when I put it all together I really loved it.
I like to think of this as a laid back "business" look. If you work in a really fashion forward office that has a laid back dress code you could definitely rock this look there. If you don't... I think this is a great option for brunch or girls night that involves dinner and drinks. The shorts & graphic tee keep things casual while the heels and blazer dress it up a bit. I will definitely be rocking this look very soon!

What are your thoughts? Would you ever wear this? I'm pretty sure J will ask me what the heck I'm wearing when I do wear this. (Luckily my mom was taking my photos this day and she thought I looked cute. hah)

Same Leopard Different Spots

Surprise, surprise, I'm back with another animal print!
Y'all know I have been obsessed with all the animal print this fall and today's post is no exception.
I got this sweater back in July during the Nsale and I cannot wait for it to get cooler so I can wear it.
I love that this sweater is leopard print, but puts a slight twist on it. I went real basic and paired it with black denim and black boots, but I feel like you could get a little crazy with your pants option. Since the top is so neutral you could definitely add a pop of color on the bottom. I also need to get a pair of the black/grey washed denim to wear this with. I tried to buy some during the Nsale and none fit me just right. I think I'm going to order this pair from Old Navy. (I LOVE their denim!)

I didn't say this at the beginning of the post, but happy Thursday! What are everyone's plans this weekend? We are going to look at houses on Saturday followed by the air show. And on Sunday I think we are going to the Jags game. Kind of a low key weekend.
I hope y'all have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by! Definitely stay tuned next week because I have some really fun posts coming.

Hot Fall Print: Snake Print

Hey y'all!
I was literally supposed to write this blog post like 3 hours ago, but I fell into a deep dark hole looking for wedding shoes. Spoiler alert... I still haven't found any. I'm taking my dress to my first fitting next week and I'm kind of freaking out! If you have any suggestions for cute wedding shoes, please send them my way.
Anyway, let's move on to today's outfit before I have a mini panic attack!
I've talked a lot about how much I love leopard print this fall. (See herehere, & here) Today I want to talk about another hot fall print... snake skin.
I have been seeing snake print EVERYWHERE!! I haven't pulled the trigger on anything other than a pair of booties until this past weekend. I've been patiently waiting to find some perfect pieces and when I saw this kimono I knew it was just the one. I like that it's so easy to style and adds a little pop to my all black outfit. I bought it on Saturday and immediately  wore it to brunch on Sunday to celebrate Parkside Harbor 1 year anniversary. You know it's a great piece when you just can't wait to wear it!

Dreamy Fall Boho Dress

I hope y'all like this dress because you are probably going to be seeing it a lot this fall!
When I first saw this dress at the Fig & Willow Fall Fashion event I was immediately drawn to it. I knew I had to try it on. I also knew before I even tried it on that I was going to love it.
When you first look at this dress you might not see it as a fall piece. I'm here to change your mind about that.
As soon as I saw this dress I styled it a million different ways. The first way that came to mind was the way I styled it below. I loved the thought of how soft, flowy and feminine the dress was juxtaposed with the harshness of black booties and a leather jacket. It was one of those outfits I had in my head and when I saw it in real life it was better than I imagined. The hard and soft elements just really spoke to me. I literally would wear this outfit everyday if that was socially acceptable.
I also love it with a jean jacket and taupe booties, brown bootie and a suede jacket, and a million other options! And don't forget to add a hat to any and all of these outfits to really up your fall style game!

Sequin Dress and Drag Brunch

I'm back with another bachelorette outfit!
This one is great because it's perfect for any fun parties you have now (like bachelorettes or birthday parties), but can also be worn for the holidays in just a couple short months.
I actually bought it for an event back in April but it didn't seem super appropriate for said event. I almost returned it,  but after a little thought I knew it would be perfect for my bachelorette.
When I first unpacked it my friend asked me if I would consider it a day look? (Keep in mind I had no idea what activities they had planned for me.) I just kind of looked at her and said I thought it was more of a nighttime look. She said we would have to ask my bestie when he got there. As soon as she asked him he said "Yes!!! She needs to wear that on Saturday!!"
Come Saturday morning he told me to do my makeup and put on the pink sparkly dress. Not going to lie, I felt a little ridiculous being in a full sparkle dress at 10am. Then again we were in Miami so I'm sure no one thought twice about it.
When we finally arrived at our destination it all made sense! We were going to drag brunch at The Palace and this was the absolute perfect outfit!
This was one of the best drag shows I've ever been to. If you're in Miami and looking for something to do on the weekend I highly suggest checking it out. The food was actually really good too, which can be hard to find.

Dress: Red Dress Boutique (Maxi version here) | Shoes: Target | Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lip Gloss in Pillow Talk

If you don't have a bachelorette coming up this dress comes in black, navy, and red which is PERFECT for the holiday season. It also comes in a maxi length if this one is a little short for your taste. (Not going to lie... it's V short!!)

I'm working really hard to get part 1 of my bachelorette up tomorrow! We have been knocking out wedding stuff all week, which has been very time consuming. I promise it's coming.

P.S. Can we talk about how hard it was to shoot these photos without sunnies?! I don't know why I didn't wear any. I definitely wore these to brunch in Miami.
