Cheers to New Year's Eve

A couple weeks ago a shared a super dressed up sequins look for New Year's Eve.
Last week I shared a bunch of different options.
Today I thought I would actually style a more laid back look. (I liked both the top and bottom in my collage last week.)
I saw this t-shirt one day when I was picking up an order from Abercrombie. I had to have it because I LOVE champagne. After I bought it I thought it would make such a cute NYE outfit. With 2020 being more about casual and comfort this is such a great option. You could really wear it a million different ways. I decided to style it with my current favorite leather joggers. Although, it would also look great with fleece joggers for a cozy night in too.
If you are heading out somewhere I would pair it with a red (or pink) lip, some fun jewelry and high heels. That is the perfect look to kiss 2020 goodbye in my book.

Top: Abercrombie currently on sale for under $12!!!! | Pants: Target | Shoes: Old (love these and these are so freaking fun for NYE) | Lips: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague | Sunnies: Amazon

How was everyone's Christmas? I hope it was a good one spent with at least a few family members or friends.
Ours was very low key, but that's exactly what we wanted and needed this year.
I'm going to put together a post in the next week or so on some of the items I got. There are some great ones that I'm really excited to share with y'all!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have great Sunday and last few days of 2020.

NYE Outfit Inspo 2020

Since tomorrow is Christmas Eve that means New Year's Eve is only 1 week away.
I'm sure NYE will look very different for many of us this year. While it might not be the big night out we are used to we can still dress up a bit.
I've rounded up some great options below if you're in the mood to dress up. Whether you're heading out or staying in I think we should all take this opportunity to change out of loungewear and dress to the 9's. (If you're not feeling it I did pick a couple loungewear pieces too.)
This is so cute and a great price point.
If you're not feeling up to changing out of loungewear this would be such a great option for hanging on the couch!
This comes in a bunch of color options and is actually what I will be wearing to ring in 2021.
Another great lounge set if you just aren't feeling dresses & sequins.
I love this dress! I actually almost bought this one instead of the one I ended up with. It has a great cutout detail in the back and comes in silver.
I have a very similar skirt and love this dress option.
I have this and love it! Cute option if you don't feel like going all out!
Another great option if you don't feel like being too over the top. Would look great with black skinny jeans or leather joggers.
Speaking of leather joggers these are such a great option. They would work with almost all the tops on here.
I love this dress. If I didn't already have mine this would be a contender for sure!
I love this pattern and silhouette of this dress! So pretty!
I feel like leather dresses have been so trendy this fall. This would be a great option for NYE that you could wear again.
This is so cute! I will probably wear this on New Year's Day. It would again look really cute with the leather joggers. (You may or may not see this outfit on the blog tomorrow.)
I love this top. If you don't feel comfortable enough in just a bra you can throw on a black tank instead.

What are your plans for New Year's Eve? We wanted to at least go to dinner, but everywhere I called was completely booked. I was actually really shocked. Instead we are going to cook with a small group of friends at someones house. Hopefully we will ring in a better and healthier year for all!
As always, thanks for stopping by and reading. I truly appreciate each of you!

Gift Guide: Last Minute Home Gifts

I've got one last gift guide for y'all.
I kept wanting to put together a gift guide for the home and time kept getting away from me.
Today I finally sat down and did it. The best part is all of these will deliver in time for Christmas.
This is the coffee maker we have. Sadly it's sitting in a box until we buy our house. Regardless, this would make a great gift!
I got J one of these 2 years ago. I think the new ones are so cute. Might need to upgrade.
These are so cute and trendy. I really want a set, but we cannot fit any more cups in our house.
This is absolutely beautiful. This will probably be the first purchase I make when we buy a house. Would make a beautiful gift for your mom. (Check shipping. You might have to pay for upgraded shipping to get it in time.)
Another item I have sitting in a box waiting for us to buy a house. My friend and I got the same one on Prime Day and he says it's AMAZING. (I have a different brand, but I feel like the overall consensus of robot vacuums is they are worth it.)
These would be a great stocking stuffer. They work with Alexa and other smart home devices. Love that you can just talk to turn the lights or TV on.
This is such a cool device. It basically "opens" a bottle of wine so you can just have a glass and then save the rest. Really great for someone that drinks expensive wine.
I really want one of these. Everyone raves about them. Great for a tech person you know.
This one looks really cool. You can obviously tailor it to the persons specific interests.
I love the shape of these. Wine glasses are always a good gift. I feel like Amazon is a great place to buy them because they will be easy to replace if they break.
I bought one of these a few months ago and now have one on every TV! I love it. You can also use voice commands if you have an Alexa.

Hopefully you don't have too much more shopping to do. However, I hope you found this Gift Guide and the last one helpful if you still have some people to check off your list.

Gift Guide: Last Minute Gifts

We are really getting down to the wire with Christmas shopping!
If you haven't checked everything off your list yet (or even started) I've got ya covered with these last minute gift ideas that will arrive in time for the big day next Friday! Thank you Amazon Prime. Seriously, what the heck did we do before everything was at our finger tips and deliverable within a day or two?
Kindle
I freaking love mine! Perfect for the avid reader in your life. (Certain colors and storage sizes will deliver by Christmas. Make sure you double check.)
This is one of my favorites. Games are always a fun gift because then you have something to do after all the gifts are opened.
I love these shoes. They are super trendy right now and would make a great gift.
I got these on Prime Day and love them. They honestly might be on an even better sale than what I got them for.
This is perfect for the beauty lover in your life.
I hear nothing but great things about these. Bonus: If you get it for someone you live with it's also a present for you!
Be careful who you gift this to. I personally want one of these scales because I want to see more than just my weight. This tells you 14 different body measurements.
My friend has one of these and it's so fun!
For the person that has 100 pairs of sunnies. I have this one and it holds 12 pairs and looks good sitting out. (Check the dates here because only certain ones will deliver in time.)
Such a classic gift! (Again, double check on this one. Only certain colors and sizes will deliver by Friday.)
This candle smells so freaking good! I love getting nicer candles as a gift because most people won't spend the money on their own.
Great stocking stuffer. This looks similar to the one I have that I always get questions on.
Our friend got us these for Christmas 2 years ago and it's one of the best gifts EVER!

Happy shopping!!

Little Swing Tank

Y'all! I am so excited to finally share this top with you! I shot it right after Thanksgiving not even thinking that it wasn't live online yet. (I bought it at a pop-up event.) When I saw it was a new arrival on Monday I was so happy because that meant I could finally share it with all of you!
Let me start by just telling you that I love this top. When I first bought it I honestly didn't know I was going to love it as much as I do. It's such a cute piece that can be worn dressed up or down. For instance I wore it a little more casual on Thanksgiving with jeans and suede booties. Here I decided to dress it up a bit with leather leggings and my favorite little block heels. This would be such a great outfit for Christmas next week. I honestly might wear it for our Christmas party on Saturday.
Thinking ahead it would also be great for Valentine's Day! It's also super flattering and doesn't add weight like some flow tops can. However, it's also great for hiding a food baby from all the Christmas cookies we will consume next week. (Or maybe have already consumed.)
Basically I'm telling you to get this top and I promise you won't regret it!

Top: Parkside Harbor use my code KATIE20 for 20% off | Leggings: Nordstrom | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Earrings: Amazon (these would be a cute stocking stuffer) | Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk with Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Cake Shake

What's everyone doing this weekend? Can you believe tomorrow is 1 week until Christmas? I feel like most of this year dragged on, but per usual the holidays went by in a blink! I hope everyone is finishing up their holiday shopping so they can relax and hopefully enjoy some time with family and friends.
Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate y'all following along!

2020 Sequins?

Last week I shared a more laid back Christmas/Holiday look and today I'm doing the exact opposite.
I know 2020 has been a crazy year full of staying home in lounge wear. While I love a good lounge wear set more than anything I really miss dressing up.
With the holidays upon us and NYE fast approaching, I started thinking about what I would be doing and more importantly what I would be wearing. I still don't know what we are doing, but I do know what I will be wearing. (Even if it's just downstairs to the living and dining room.)
I don't know why, but when I saw this dress I just had to have it. Something about the sleeves, the wrap front skirt, and the silver sequins just spoke to me. Add in that it was on sale for 50% off and I was sold! (Right now it's even cheaper than what I paid.)
I kept things super classic with a red lip and my favorite nude block heels. Maybe I'll switch things up and go with a bold pink on NYE. That's still TBD.
While NYE 2020 might not look like it normally does at least I will love my outfit when we kiss this crazy year goodbye and ring in a (hopefully) new and better one!

Dress: Anthropologie (also love this one & this one) | Shoes: Target | Lipstick: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso

I can't believe it's already time for me to be sharing NYE content. What are you doing for NYE this year? Even if you plan to stay in are you going to dress up? I'm sure we are all more than ready to say goodbye to 2020 and hope that 2021 has more normalcy in store.

P.S. Excuse the fact that I have like NO eyelashes in these photos. I always shoot with sunnies and clearly if I don't I need to put on falsies and a TON of eyeshadow. lol

Leather Joggers Casual Style

Tuesday I shared these leather joggers and how I would dress them up for the holiday. Today I am sharing them again in a more casual way. When I first bought these joggers this was the outfit I had in mind. I actually bought this sweatshirt at the same time.
I feel like 2020 has definitely been all about casual style and comfort. I think this outfit is both of those things, but the leather joggers elevate it just a bit. This would actually be a great outfit to ease back into "dressing up" for work again. I paired it with my favorite pair of sneakers to keep things super comfortable and casual.
If I didn't sell you on the joggers Tuesday I'm hoping today will. This is just two ways to style them but they are honestly becoming a closet staple.
