Clarisonic

Today I wanted to tell y’all all about my love for Clarisonic.
This would make the PERFECT gift for a friend, sister, mom, yourself, or there is even one for the guy in your life. I’m not sure if there will be any deals on them on black Friday but there are some gift sets for the holidays.
I’ve been very blessed and never truly had terrible skin problems. However, when I started my job I began to breakout more than I ever had. I think it mostly stemmed from resting my face on my hand at the computer all day but regardless it made me extremely self-conscious. Enter my Clarisonic (mia) and philosophy purity cleanser. I noticed an immediate change in just over a week. My breakouts cleared up quick and I haven’t had one since. Another thing I love is how clean my face feels after using it. The one down side is it can be a little drying but that just makes me use moisturizer more religiously (which is not a bad thing).
The regimen I use is once daily (usually after work) with the regular brush. I also have the deep pore one that came as a bonus and I use that one maybe once every 2 weeks. When I got it, the lady told me not to use the deep pore one often if I don’t have tough skin. I can definitely see why as that brush is a lot stiffer and when I use it; my face feels almost too clean and very dry afterwards.
Overall, I would say this is a fantastic purchase and if you’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on it now is the time!
I’ve linked the exact one I have, that just so happens so be a gift set, along with a couple other systems and brush heads.
If you have, any specific questions leave them in the comments and I would be more than happy to answer them.

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving y’all!
While I love, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole as much as the next gal; this holiday is about so much more. This whole week I have been thinking about how truly thankful I am for this life I have been given. I am beyond thankful for my family who I am missing terribly today. I am thankful to have a great boyfriend who I can spend this holiday with, since I can’t be with my momma, daddy, & brother. I am thankful for my wonderful friends new and old. I’m thankful for my job and the fact that I got one right out of college. I’m thankful to live in the land of the free and especially thankful for those brave people that keep it that way.
And of course, I am thankful for this little blog and those of you that read it!
I am so so thankful for all these things I have been blessed with and so much more.
I hope y’all enjoy your day and take some time to reflect on what you’re thankful for along with your turkey!

Happy Thanksgiving eve!
I am so excited for tomorrow I can hardly contain myself.
Anyway, I am back with another gift guide today. This one is dedicated to the wonderful hostess that throws all those fabulous parties this time of year. Bring her one of these and you're sure to be her favorite guest.
Happy partying friends!

1. This decanter set is a little pricy, but it's so pretty.
2. I am obsessed with this ice bucket. You could even put a vinyl initial or fun saying on it to give it a more personal touch.
3. Wine is a classic gift, but this wine bag really takes things up a notch.
4. Love this flameless candle because it will be great all year long.
5. These copper mugs are so trendy right now.
6. A cute ornament for her tree is perfect for holiday parties.
7. I have a slight obsession with pineapples and therefore assume so does everyone else. Regardless, these pineapple jars are perfect!
8. If you like the above decanter set but want it a little cheaper or more festive buy this decanter and pair with these glasses.
9. How festive is this bottle opener?

Gift Guide for Him

Hey y’all!
Let me start by saying I am so sorry for being MIA the last 3 weeks! With traveling, visitors, work, and so much more, things have gotten CRAZY! However, I guess it’s that time of the year. I promise to try and be better with posting.
Anyway…with Thanksgiving a week from today that also means the holiday shopping craziness is about to start. I plan on doing a ton of gift guides over the next few weeks, and thought I would tackle what I find to be the hardest first…shopping for the guys! Whether I’m shopping for my dad, brother, or boyfriend, I NEVER know what to get. If you’re anything like me this gift guide will hopefully be a HUGE help.
Happy Shopping!

1. Noise Canceling Headphones (These are great for movies, travel, and much more.)
2. Jack Black Skin Care (Comes in a ton of different gift sets to choose from.)
3. Fitbit (Great for the active guy in your life. Could come in handy for potential New Year's resolutions.)
4. Beer Making Kit (What guy doesn't love beer? Give him something to do while watching football.)
5. Whisky Rocks (Not to be all about alcohol, but this is a good alternative for the guy that doesn't like beer.)
6. Cologne (Get their favorite or maybe a new one to try out.)
7. Columbia Shirt (My dad is really into fishing so Columbia shirts are always a good option. If fishing isn't his thing perhaps a new jersey, golf polo, hoodie, or something like that.)
