Summer is upon us and that means time to hit the beach and pool.
I've rounded up my Summer beach reads and the best part is Target currently has buy 2 get one free on books. Check out my picks below and grab one or two for your next beach or pool day!
Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult
The Newcomer by Mary Kay Andrews
The Secret to Southern Charm by Kristy Woodson Harvey
The Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand (She is the QUEEN of beach reads.)
It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover (She writes such good books!)
The Club by Ellery Lloyd (Reese Witherspoon book club book)
Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid (Another Reese book club book)
Good Girl Complex by Elle Kennedy
The Girls Weekend by Jody Getrman (A bit of suspense if that's your thing.)
The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley
East Coast Girls by Kerry Kletter
Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid (I think this is the one I'm going to read first.)
The Lifegaurds by Amanda Eyre Ward
One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle (I feel like this one will be very popular this year.)

Let me know if you read any of these and what your thoughts were. I always love hearing other peoples book reviews.

Summer Reading List 2021

Since it's officially the first day of Summer I thought it would be the perfect time to share my Summer Reading list.
I like putting these together each year so I can remember all the books I want to read and hopefully give y'all some ideas as well.
A lot of these are your typical beach read, but there's also some more suspenseful ones.
Let me know if the comments below which ones you will be reading this Summer.
This has been on my list for a while. Hoping to finally get around to it this Summer.
The title of this one. Enough said.
I've been seeing a lot of buzz about this one. Definitely adding it to my must read list.
This one has also been getting a lot of buzz. She is the author of The Devil Wears Prada so you know it has to be good.
Eilin Hilderbrand is the QUEEN of Summer beach reads. This one sounds a little different, but very interesting.
I saw this when I was in the book section of Target the other day. The synopsis definitely peaked my interest.
This is my next book club book. I am excited to read it because I have heard a lot of good things about Colleen Hoover. I have a ton of other books by her on my list as well.
Any fellow Toasters out there? I have had this book for a while and just haven't found the time to start it. I've heard really good things though.
I actually totally forgot about this book until the other day. Definitely need to read it as a huge Bravo fan!
This one sounds like a bit of suspense/mystery. A good change up from the lighthearted nature of most beach reads.

What's on your Summer reading list? Let me know if you have any good recommendations. I still have some from last year I never got around to that I'm hoping to get through this year.
Happy Summer!

Summer Reading List 2020

This past Monday kicked off the unofficial start to summer!
With that in mind I thought I would share my Summer Reading List with y'all.
Some of these are repeats from last year because honestly I did not get very far on my list last year. With a little more free time this year I am hoping to knock out all of these on top of any book club books.
If you are in need of some new summer reads check out my list below.
This is one that was on the list last year and I never got around to reading it. I finally bought the book a few weeks ago, so I will definitely be reading it soon!
This is another that was on last years list that never got read. I also bought this one a few weeks ago, so I will be reading it this summer for sure!
This seems like such a good summer beach read!
I've heard really good things about this and the synopsis sounds really good!
I'm currently reading this and it's so good. It had a lot of buzz a few months ago and I was stoked when it got picked for our book club read.
This is another I've already read. I am not normally an autobiography person, but this might honestly be one of my favorite books! It was so so good!
I'm pretty sure this was a book for the Read Heads Book Club. If you are a Toaster you will know what I'm talking about. If not, you should check out the podcast The Read Heads Book Club.
I think this was suggested in my book club once and never got picked. The synopsis sounds really good though.
This book is honestly really freaking hard to find. I linked the kindle version. That and an audio version is the only one I can find. It sounds so so good though!
This is another book that seems like a light and fun beach read.
Another one I have heard so many rave reviews about. One of my friends said it's the best book she's ever read! Bold statement!
Any Younger fans here? This is another book from the series. I also read Marriage Vacation, which is from the series. It was pretty good!
This seems like a fun one to read. Definitely a great pick for when you are laying by the pool.
If it's got the word Summer in the title it's got to be a good summer read.
This one makes the list because as much as I love a fun/easy read in the summer I do like my fair share of mystery/thriller.
This one is also a mystery/thriller. I always like to mix things up!

So there you have my 2020 summer reading list. I hope to get through a lot more than I did last year. I have already read 1 of the books and own 3 or 4 so I think the odds are in my favor.
Do you have any good book recommendations? I always love a good book suggestion.
