Leopard Slip Dress Take 2

Happy almost weekend. And a long weekend at that.
Today I am back with my second outfit using this leopard slip dress.
I love today's outfit because it's easy, but really changes up the dress.
I wore this outfit in Atlanta and can't tell you how many compliments I got on my "skirt". When I told people it was a dress they loved it even more! Tying a simple t-shirt over the dress gives you a whole new piece in your closet essentially. I also love doing this in the winter with cropped sweaters. Throw on some booties and a hat and you're good to go. (I just wore simple heels with this outfit since it's still super hot.)

Getting so many outfits out of one piece really gives you a bang for your buck. I'm really loving this series to show y'all that you can wear things more than once or more than one way. I've got one more outfit with this dress up my sleeve and I'll be sharing that with you on Tuesday.

I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. If you're in Florida like I am please keep an eye on this hurricane and stay safe. We are watching it for now and will see what happens.

Leopard Slip Dress Take 1

Remember in this post when I said leopard was one of the hottest trends for fall? Well, I wasn't joking. I picked up this dress during the Sale and I am so glad I did because it sold out FAST!! (The leopard is back in VERY limited sizing. There is also another print available that I think is really cute too.)
Because I love this dress so much I wanted to do a 3 part series styling it 3 different ways. (I know I personally love when bloggers do this so you have a few different ideas on how to style a piece.)
Today's outfit is very simple. I threw on a belt and some heels and had a great outfit. (I actually stole this look from my friend who has the same dress.) I love how adding the belt is simple, but changes up the look a bit.
The best part is my belt is a dupe that you can get by the weekend!

Since I'm doing this as a 3 part series I'm curious if you like when bloggers show multiple ways to wear one piece? Leave a comment, email or DM me and let me know. I do this for y'all so the more I know what you like the better!

Bodysuits & Chambray Skirts

Guys!!
It's been what feels like forever since I last wrote a blog post! Things have been so buys and honestly I'd rather be sleeping right now. However, I really wanted to write this post and share this outfit with y'all. So without further ado, let's talk about this super cute summer outfit.
Technically, summer is winding down. However, it will still be extremely hot here in Florida so I will be wearing this outfit for quite some time. I first paired this bodysuit and skirt together for my birthday dinner with a bunch of girlfriends. I immediately feel in love with it and got so many compliments. I've had this skirt forever and have worn it a ton of different ways. I think this one might be my favorite way I've styled it though.
Let's talk about this bodysuit for a minute. I bought it after seeing it on Sweet Tea with Madi and thinking it looked so cute. I've worn it a few different ways and I'm so glad I pulled the trigger. It's a great summer piece that will also look good with jeans and a leather or suede jacket in the fall. (I got a size medium which is my normal size and it fit great. I also am a 34C and feel completely comfortable.)
As a final touch I added these fun hair clips that are very on trend right now. I got mine in a 4 pack from amazon for about $10! (I'll link them below.)

Bodysuit: Revolve (red version here) | Skirt: Lulu's | Hair Clips: Amazon | Shoes: Target | Lipgloss: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask | Sunnies: Target
What are everyone's plans this weekend? I'm going to Orlando for a girls trip with about 8 of my friends. We are doing something really fun, but you will have to follow on Instagram to see what that is. @thefashionablylateblonde
I hope you have a great Friday and an even better Saturday! Thanks for reading :)

Microblading Round 2

Today I am finally sharing me second round of microblading. (You can read all about my first round here.)
A little info on microblading for anyone that has never heard of it or the process. Microblading is a semi permanent tattoo for your eyebrows. It doesn't go 7 layers deep like a normal tattoo which is why it's only semi permanent. (Microblading only goes 2 layers deep making it semi permanent.) It also requires 2 appointments the first time and then touchup appointments about once a year after that. I did my first appointment in May and went for my touchup about a month later.

I will start by telling you that my second appointment was very different from my first one. The second appointment is what my brow gal calls a "perfecting appointment". Basically making sure everything is dark enough and the shape is perfect after you're all healed.
We started the appointment with numbing just like we did the first time. This time she numbed me a little longer because during my first appointment I could feel a little bit on my right brow. Once I was all numbed we both decided that I should go darker. (I will always say my brows need to be darker. hah)
After that she went to work. This time things hurt a little more than the first time. One reason is because you have already been "cut" there and they are essentially cutting through scar tissue. The second reason it hurt was because I forgot to follow the rules and had some drinks the night before. I mentioned this in my first post and I would HIGHLY suggest you heed my warning and not drink alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours prior. Not only does it cause more pain for you, but it also causing more bleeding which isn't good either. (Fun fact: My right eyebrow bled soooo much and my left one barely bled at all. Clearly we know which one is the problem child.)
Once she was all done and my brows were perfect she sent me on my way with my aftercare. (I went straight to my office and was totally fine. No one had any idea.)
The aftercare was the same this time as the first time.
It's been about a month and a half and my brows are PERFECT!! I love them so much!!
She did tell me to get some brow gel since my brows are so blonde. I use it from time to time, usually when I'm going out or if I have something important going on at work.

I'm sure the big question you have is if I think it was worth it. My answer... ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY! I would spend the money again in a heartbeat. I know it's a little pricey, but for someone like me, I think it's 100% worth it. Eyebrows really add dimension to your face so when you don't have very prominent brows something like mircroblading makes all the difference.
If you are in the Jacksonville area I cannot recommend Cristal enough. You can check her out on Instagram here and make an appointment here.

If you have any questions about microblading please feel free to email me, leave a comment, DM me, whatever works for you.

Hot Fall Print: Cheetah

Today I want to share one of the hottest prints you will be seeing everywhere this fall: Cheetah!
Personally, I have always loved a good cheetah print so I am very on board for this. I stocked up during the Nsale on some cheetah pieces and today I wanted to show you how I am styling it while I'm waiting for fall.
As soon as I saw this cami I knew I had to have it. I bought it last year in cream and regretted not getting more colors. I am so glad I was able to get this one before it sold out! (If you weren't as lucky I have linked some very similar options below.) I paired it here with some high-waisted shorts, gladiator sandals, hoop earrings and a bold lip. I think when I shot this I was grabbing ice cream with my mom, but I would totally wear this to meet up with friends on Saturday for coffee or afternoon drinks.
This can also easily be transitioned into fall. Throw on a pair of jeans, black booties and a leather jacket and you'll be good to go. Y'all know I am all about transitional pieces ALWAYS. Living in Florida you kind of have to have a very transitional wardrobe.
What are your thoughts on the cheetah trend for fall? Do you love it or hate it? I would love to hear your thoughts.

I hope y'all have a great Tuesday. I am currently in Atlanta and heading to market with my friend Park Side Harbor. You should definitely follow along on Instagram @thefashionablylateblonde & @parksideharbor for behind the scenes.
