Extra Puff Please

Today we are back on the puff sleeve trend. I'm telling y'all I really can't decide if I like puff sleeves or the shacket more.
I actually ordered Tuesday's shacket in the same order as this top.
I really wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this. I didn't have high hopes, but it was around $10 so I figured why not. Well, it totally blew away my expectations. The only thing I didn't love is the bodice is a ribbed knit. I couldn't tell in the photos, but I honestly don't hate it.
I actually wore this one night when we were in Asheville last month. I didn't originally have this outfit in mind, but I really love how it came together. I also really like the mom jeans with the boots. It's probably my new favorite outfit. It would make a good casual holiday outfit with a red lip and some hair clips.
Let's talk sizing for a minute because I usually question sizing from this site.
I went with my normal size because I wanted it to be more on the fitted side. (I usually size up on sites like Shein and Amazon.) It's definitely snug but I just don't put it in the dryer.

Top: Shein | Denim: Abercrombie | Boots: Old (similar here, here, & here) | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Lips: MAC Lipliner in Soar with Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Pillow Talk & Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Cake Shake

I hope everyone has a great weekend. We have a SUPER busy day on Saturday. Sunday I am finally getting my house decorated for Christmas. I have to wait until at least the weekend before Thanksgiving because we get a real tree.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out today's post!

Cold Shoulder

I know I say this a lot, however, this look is one of my favorites. I think a crisp white button down is a necessity in every gal’s wardrobe. You can dress it up for work with slacks, wear it for date night with skinny jeans and high heels, or to brunch tucked into jean shorts with some cute flats. It is a very versatile piece. Since I believe this is such a wardrobe staple, I also believe you should have a fun variation. I was browsing a local boutique the other weekend, and this top immediately caught my eye! I love anything white (although I can’t ever keep things white #messy), and these sleeves instantly called my name. I mean hello it’s slightly dramatic, but the lace detail keeps it girly. When I pulled it off the rack I knew it was just too cute to pass up. I styled it with jeans and skinny heels for a date night look. I think it would also be cute tucked into cropped pants with flats for a more office friendly look. If you already have your standard white button down, I highly suggest picking up a fun one like this for the spring/summer season.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I think I’m going to take the weekend to Spring clean and get my taxes done! Ughhhh, not the most fun plans but definitely necessary.

Perfect Body-Con Dress (Part 2)

Happy Thursday! We are so close to the weekend y’all and I can’t wait!
As promised today I am back with an outfit repeat! I last styled this dress in a totally casual/end of summer way. Today I decided to dress it up a bit more for a fall date night feel. This would be the perfect look for dinner with your guy, or drinks with your girlfriends on a Friday night. I think that’s why I love this dress so much… not only is it extremely flattering, but it’s also very versatile. (And under $60!!!) Another great date night look for when the temps really drop is pairing it with this leather jacket, and black OTK boots! Just in case two looks for the same dress wasn’t enough now you have a third idea!
This dress already came in a ton of different colors and I’m pretty sure they have come out with even more since the last time I posted.  There’s also a long sleeve version now that I totally have in my cart!  (I will probably pull the trigger this weekend on that one.)

Dress: Nordstrom (long sleeve version here) | Jacket: American Eagle old (other options here, here, here, here, here, & here) | Shoes: Lulus old (similar here) | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Earrings: Bauble Bar | Lipstick: Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in 01 Always Red

I hope you have enjoyed me showing you the same pieces styled a different way. Let me know in the comments below if this is something you would like to see more of.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. The weather has been PERFECT here this week, and is supposed to continue through the weekend!
