Summer Patio Must Haves

Memorial Day weekend officially starts tomorrow. And that means that Summer is also officially here.
We'll all be spending more time outside so I wanted to share some of my backyard favorites. These are all the items you need to get your patio ready for all your Summer get-togethers.
We've actually had these exact ones for 2-3 years. They've held up really well for the price. They are perfect for lighting up your backyard at night.
Living in Florida you always need shade. This umbrella is so pretty. Pretty outdoor umbrellas can be hard to come by. This one is also really cute and a little more affordable.
This is just an all the time necessity. Keep your White Claw, Truly, whatever your seltzer of choice is cool with this guy. My friend got me one for Christmas 2 years ago and it's one of the best gifts EVER!
Plastic is a must for outside, especially if you have a pool. If stemless is more your vibe I also LOVEEE these.
This is a great alternative to the ever popular egg chair. I also love this one.
I know they are expensive, but man are they worth it. This will keep your drinks cold the entire party and then some.
These are so cute to just pop up in the backyard for the day. There are so many cute ones that will definitely make a gram worthy photo. Like this one.
This thing is AMAZING! If you are anything like me you will get 100 bug bites while everyone else is fine. This thing creates a shield to keep the bugs away. We used my friends last Summer in the mountains and it was a life saver. I immediately bought one for myself.
I love this outdoor lantern. So cute for adding outdoor decor.
I think outdoor rugs really make the space. They can make it feel like an extension of your home. This one is super affordable too.
NOT PICTURED:
If you need an outdoor sectional and table I would recommend this one. It's so cute and currently on sale.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. My best friend is coming in town this afternoon and I'm excited to hang out with him for a couple days.
Thanks for stopping by.

Muscle Tank and Mom Jeans

If you've been following me for a while, you know that I love a good classic look. I think it's important to have pieces in your closet that will never go out of style. On the flip side though I love a good trend. I think this look checks both those boxes.
These jeans are easily my favorites and I find myself reaching for them more than any others in my closet. I really love all my denim from this retailer, but especially these acid wash mom jeans.
That's easily the classic part of this outfit. The top is also classic, but if you look closely it has shoulder pads... and that's the trendy part.
This is such a great tank to have in your closet. I will easily be pairing it with denim, skirts and shorts all summer long. It's also really good quality at an even better price point.

Memorial Day 2021

Can y'all believe that Memorial Day is in a little over a week?
What are everyone's plans for the holiday weekend? I'm not too sure what we are going to do. My best friend will be in town for a couple days and then I know we are going to a baseball game on Saturday. We'll probably head to the beach at some point too.
In case you need some Memorial Day inspo I've rounded up a few items for ya.
I love this coverup. I will definitely be ordering it for myself. It will be great all Summer long.
I have this suit and love it! The high waist bottoms are super flattering too.
I am all about keeping the sun off my face and chest. An oversized hat is a great way to do just that.
One of my favorite swimwear brands. Lots of colors, prints, and silhouettes to choose from. All swim is currently 25% off too!
These sandals are so cute. You could easily dress them up or down.
I think this romper is so cute. I definitely need to purchase for myself.
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be in the 90's next weekend. You can definitely find me in the pool or ocean at some point. I love floats because you can stay cool, but don't have to be in the water completely.
These are my favorite denim shorts and they are super affordable.
I have one from last year that I actually cut into a crop. This is great if you live somewhere that it gets cooler at night. (T-shirt option here)
If you have a BBQ to go to next weekend I think this would be so cute!

Utility Romper

If you've been around for a while then you know ya girl loves a good romper/jumpsuit. I would honestly say they are probably my favorite silhouette.
When I first started seeing the utility romper I thought it was so cute.
This denim one immediately caught my eye and I thought it would be so cute for Spring/Summer. I really like that it's pretty structured since it's denim. I feel like there are so many different fabric options and they all look so good. Mine is pretty limited in sizing so I've linked a ton of different options below.
I paired mine with some fun sandals and my favorite bamboo bag. You could also really dress it down with a pair of white sneakers. (Y'all know I also have a love for white sneakers. haha)

Romper: Zara (also love this onethis onethis one, & this one) | Shoes: Shein | Purse: Amazon | Earrings: Target | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Lips: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague

What do you think of the utility jumpsuit? I just love how versatile they are and how you can style it so many different ways. I may or may not have more than one in my closet.

Cherry Blossoms

If you've been around for a while then you know how much I love NYC.
As much as I love it and as many times as I have been (and my little bit of time living there) I have never been during spring time.
I was so happy I finally got to visit my favorite city during such a beautiful time of year.
One of the big draws to the city during this season is all the blooms. The main ones... cherry blossoms.
I knew I had to get some shots in Central Park so I met my friend after work one day and we walked over.
Thanks to Grace's cherry blossom guide I knew just the spot I wanted to go to. (If you are visiting during the Spring I highly recommend saving her post.)
It was crazy busy with people getting their shot for the gram, but we were able to find a little less crowded area and ended up with some great photos.

Dress: Zara (similar herehere, & here) | Jacket: Topshop old (similar here & here) | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Shoes: Shein | Lipstick: Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in Secret Salma

What's your favorite season? Mine is usually Fall or Winter, but if I could have Spring in NYC every year that would hands down win every time... at least I think. Fall in the city is pretty magical too.

Amazon Mother's Day Gifts

 This Sunday is Mother's Day.
I'm not going to lie... it kind of snuck up on me. If you are in need of a last minute gift you should definitely check out the gift guide below. All these items are from Amazon and will arrive in time for Mother's Day this Sunday.
Perfect if your mom likes to read. I got one last year and I love it!
This is so cute, especially for a new mom.
I feel like this is always a good gift. If your mom is still rocking an old school coffee pot this will definitely be a welcomed upgrade.
This seems super lightweight which is perfect heading into the warmer months.
Coffee table books are always a great gift. They can be easily tailored to different likes and hobbies. This is a fashion one, but if your mom likes travel get her one about that.
This is something most people could definitely use. I like that it's a 2 in 1 gift.
I always think slippers are a good gift for mom. Maybe because mine always asks for them. haha
Make her life easier with a robot vacuum.
I love these glasses. I have the Crate & Barrel version, but everyone raves about these as well.
I love giving candles as gifts. Especially more expensive ones. I feel like people usually won't buy them for themselves, which is why they make great gifts.

What's everyone's plans for Mother's Day? Hopefully you are able to spend it with your mom.
And just remember that Mother's Day may not be an easy day for all.
Reach out to your friends that may have lost their mom or don't have them in this season of their life.
If you know a friend is struggling to become a mom send her a sweet text to let her know you are thinking of her. I think this graphic says it best:
