Knot Your Typical T-Shirt

Hey y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend and Easter holiday. Mine was pretty low key, but still really nice.
Today I have a great simple top to share with you.
I am always on the hunt for plain tees. They are a staple in any wardrobe and definitely a necessity. I love this one because while it’s plain the knot detail gives it a little something extra. Not to mention this blush pink color is perfect for spring and summer.
This day I paired it with regular jeans but it would also look great with white or black denim and don’t forget about shorts. It comes in a couple colors and I’m thinking I might need to grab those as well.

Transitional Sweater

Happy Friday Eve!
Almost made it to the weekend and I have the perfect sweater for your weekend plans! I picked this up about 2 weeks ago and I am not kidding when I say I'm OBSSESSED! (I think I've worn it at least 5 times since.) It's perfect for so many reasons. The first is, it's really lightweight, add that to the fact that its neon pink, and it's great for this transitional time of year! Second, it can be dressed up or down, and I’ve worn it to the office but, also on date night. I LOVE when I find pieces that can be worn a multitude of ways for different settings. Lastly, it's on major sale giving you no excuse not to give this pretty sweater a new home.

February Glam Bag

Hey y’all!
Sorry for my absence last week! Things have been crazy…per usual. Anyway, today I’m back and reviewing my February Glam Bag.
First, I have to apologize. One of the products is not pictured because I gave it to a friend before I photographed it. It was a lotion and if you have read my reviews before you know I never use those because I have an allergy. I still want to link the product so here it is. What I can tell you is that it smelled like candy, which I’m usually not a fan of anyway.
Ok now onto the products I still have and photographed.
First up is Trust Fund Beauty nail polish in I'm Kind of a Big Deal. I have tried this brand before and loved it. The names are so fun and the product itself is great. I had this color on my nails for a little over a week before I saw a chip. In addition, the polish brush is a little bigger than average, which I like!
The second product is Naked Cosmetics Mica Pigment in Sierra Nevada #05. I would compare this to MAC pigment. It’s a very buildable product so you can use a little for a subtle look or a lot for a more dramatic look. Only downside since it is a loose powder it can be messy so just be careful.
The third thing is Sparkling Lip gloss in Pink Sequin from VINTAGE by Jessica Liebeskind. The color is pretty but reminds me of stuff I wore in middle school. It’s also extremely sticky which is a big turn off.
The last item in this bag is possibly my favorite. The Small Tapered Blending Brush from Luxie Beauty is amazing. It’s really soft and applies eye shadow effortlessly. I’ve been using it in my crease and outer corner and have ZERO complaints.

I hope these reviews are helpful. I cannot recommend ipsy enough. It introduces me to new products every month and sometimes I get an old favorite I may have forgotten about. If you are in a product rut, I would highly recommend signing up. Plus you get these cute pouches every month that are great for organizing things in your purse, beach bag, etc.

Spring Coat

Hello loves!
Here we are almost at the weekend. There are just a few more hours before happy hour and two days of fun and relaxation.
Now I know last Friday I said it would be my last winter outfit, but I just had to share this coat, because the color is perfect for spring. I bought this exact one a year and half ago but, have seen a ton of great blush options out there in a range of styles. While I typically do not need any type of coat past the second week of February, many do experience lovely cooler temperatures in spring. Blush is perfect for this time of year because it will go with all your white, light, and pastel colors making their way into your wardrobe. I love an all white look with this pink and it also pairs great with heather grey, camel, powder blue, mint, lilac, and so much more! Since mine is no longer available I have linked a bunch of options below. I even included some great trench coats for those April showers next month. I just might have to invest in one of those for myself. ;)

Coat: H&M old (similar here and here and also love this and this and this and this) | Top: Nordstrom (the color isn't currently on their site but I found it here) | Jeans: Lulus old ( similar here) | Shoes: DSW old (similar here also think these would look great) | Bag: Nordstrom in the Taupe/Pale Pink option

As always thanks for reading. I really appreciate it and hope you have a fantastic weekend!

I work out

In honor of the 5k I’m doing later this afternoon, I thought I would share some workout clothes with you all.
This is not something I typically share or talk about really but it’s definitely something I spend my money on a few times a year. Getting new work out clothes can be a great thing for many reasons. It can be a reward for yourself if you hit a new goal at the gym. It can motivate you to get your booty to the gym. Moreover, they can be great for things other than the gym like running errands or travel. Hello at leisure trend. With all of that said, I’m always on the lookout for inexpensive but good quality workout clothes. Enter Forever21 active section. I started browsing this online and noticed they had a lot of cute and trendy pieces for AMAZING prices! Let’s talk about these leggings. I love that they have the mesh panels that are so on trend but these are a fraction of the cost. They seem to be of good quality and fit nicely. I also really like the seaming detail many of their pants have. (Hello slimming effect!) I also bought this moisture wicking tank with a fun saying. I’m sure it will be a lot better than my typical college tee shirt I typically throw on.
I’ve linked a bunch of great options below in case you’re in the market for new workout clothes this weekend.

Top: Forever21 (also love this and this and this) | Bottoms: Can't find online (similar here and here also love these and these and these) | Shoes: Nike (also love customizing your own) | Sunnies: Ray Ban

As always thanks for stopping by!

P.S. Two other places I love for inexpensive work out wear are Old Navy and Marshalls. The Marshalls where my parents live have a HUGE selection, which I can never pass up.

P.S.S. If you need sports bras and don’t mind shelling out a little bit of cash, these are my new favorites and they are AHHHmazing! Today if you use code SPORT75DUO you can get this bra and a pair of workout pants for $75!! That is a huge savings!
