Ribbed Sweater Dress in Paris

I'm so excited to share today's outfit with y'all!
I picked this dress up right before our trip to Paris and I'm so glad I did.
Y'all know that I normally shy away from body hugging pieces, but this one just called to me for some reason. I may even buy it in tan!
This was probably one of my favorite outfits I packed. It's such a simple look, but I feel like that's what I have really been gravitating towards lately. The dress itself is also SUPER comfortable. I wore it to dinner one night and it was great after I stuffed my face with pasta and bread! I styled it with booties and a leather jacket (not pictured) since it was FREEZING in Paris. You'll also notice a belt which helps accentuate my waist and is V slimming. I have since styled it with heels and a fur vest which also looked amazing! (And the belt!)
Basically I can't say enough good things about this dress and I will be wearing it all year long!

Dress: Target | Booties: Old (similar herehere, & here) | Sunnies: Amazon | Belt: Amazon no longer available (similar here) | Purse: Old (similar herehere, & here) | Lipgloss: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lip Gloss in Pillow Talk

This would be a great option for Valentine's Day too! I'm hoping to have some more Valentine's Day options for you next week. I was supposed to shoot this past weekend, but hanging out with friends and taking Ramsey to the dog park sounded so much better. I will be getting down to business this weekend though and hope to have lots of good things coming to the blog soon!

Valentine's Day Outfit Inspo

I can't believe we are coming to the end of January!!
Valentine's Day is just a little over 3 weeks away. With that being said, today I have rounded up some great outfit options for February 14th! Whether you are celebrating with your significant other, girlfriends or pup I've got ya covered! There is something for everyone and every event.
I bought this last year and love it!
I love the colors on this! Perfect for Valentine's Day!
This can be dressed up or down.
This can be worn with a blouse and heels or a tee and sneakers depending on your plans.
Comes in a ton of other colors too.
I love this skirt. It can be worn all spring and summer long.
These are always a good idea.
Such a cute top!
I obviously love my dog and this set is too cute!
I love the color of this dress.
I love this jacket. It comes in a bunch of colors.
I think this purse is so cute! This color is currently on sale!
This just seems so feminine to me.
Have this in white and love it! The red is perfect for V-day!
I am obsessed with these! Perfect way to balance out a sexy top like the one above.
I am in love with these. I almost picked them as my wedding earrings.

What are your plans for Valentine's Day? I have no idea what we are doing. I kind of want to do something special/fun since it will be our first Valentine's Day as husband and wife. I know it's a silly holiday but still want to make it fun!

Cardigan Top Trend

Happy Tuesday!
My goal was to get this post up last week, but with my trip to Vegas and it being non-stop that just didn't happen.
I'm done traveling for a couple weeks so I'm hoping to get back on a regular posting schedule. (Tuesday and Thursday with the occasional Wedding Wednesday.)
This is the first outfit I'm sharing from Paris. I have been seeing this cardigan as a regular sweater trend everywhere and finally decided to give it a try. My goal for Paris was to bring a lot of neutrals and this camel color definitely fit the bill. I actually really like this color and have my eye on a few other pieces.
I decided to pair it with white jeans (maybe not the best idea as they got a bit dirty) and my white mules.
This was the perfect outfit for our first full day exploring Paris. We went to Musee D'Orsay and walked all the way up to Notre Dame and then back down to our hotel. I was a little skeptical of my shoe choice, but they were actually SUPER comfy. (The white is no longer available, but I linked a black pair from the same brand.)

Workout Gear

Finally!
A new blog post! I've been wanting to get this post up, but with the wedding, family and friends in town, and then heading to Paris things have just been non stop.
I know a big new year's resolution for so many people involves fitness so I thought I would round up all my favorite active gear. A lot of it is clothing, but I also added some other gadgets & things that I personally find helpful.
Obsessed with these. I have them in a few colors. They are the perfect length and so soft!
I love my Apple watch for multiple reasons. One of the biggest is the health aspect. You can track your calories, exercise, steps, and so much more!
Super important for muscle recovery if you are a runner. It feels really good after a nice long workout.
I personally can't wear Nikes for workouts, but J loves them.
People swear these are lululemon dupes. I can't confirm that (I don't own lululemon) but I do love these!
I love buying sports bras in sets. These have AMAZING reviews!
I love these leggings! I need to order them in black. I have the purple that's pictured.
I love my AirPods for a million reasons, but especially when working out.
I have this sweatshirt and love it! It's nothing special, but just a good basic to have.
I have the older version and love them.
Good for yoga, stretching, at home workouts, and so much more!
I love these!
I want one of these so bad!!
I love these tanks!
I like these longer sports bras. You can wear them alone or under lower cut workout shirts.
These are my favorite brand of running shoes!

What are your workout goals for this year?
Mine is to continue with Orangetheory and Classpass and get stronger and healthier. I'll be sharing more on this in the next couple of weeks.
Tell me what your fitness goals are in the comments below!

Happy New Year! 2020

Happy New Year!
2020
I can't believe the holiday season is already over and it's a brand new year.
I have been seriously slacking on the blog posts the last couple weeks. I have had a ton of time off work, but have been in last minute wedding planning mode. I can't believe we are only 3 days away from our wedding! (Where has the time gone?!)
Today I wanted to take a few minutes to reflect on 2019 and look forward to 2020.
2019 was a pretty quiet year. (It had a lot to live up to from 2018. We got our puppy, traveled a bunch, got engaged, I got promoted at work twice, and so much more.)
2019 wasn't a bad year just not as eventful. The biggest part of 2019 was wedding planning. If I could only describe the year in one way it would be wedding planning. haha. I got to go on a few fun trips this year including Miami for my bachelorette party!
It was also a good year for the blog. I did the most collabs I've ever done this year. I finally started doing some local events at the end of the year and got to meet other Jacksonville bloggers.

Dress: Acelitt | Shoes: Steve Madden (I actually hate these shoes. I forgot why until I put them on to shoot this. They are SUPER narrow. I don't have a wide foot at all! I'd recommend these or these) | Lipstick: Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick in Rosé Wood | Sunnies: Amazon
I will say even though 2019 wasn't bad I am definitely ready for 2020. This year is going to be a big one!
I get to kick off this decade by marrying J who I have been dating for the last 10 years! We started the last decade off by making things official as BF and GF and will start this one by making things even more official as husband and wife!
After that we have our mini moon. (Stay tuned into IG next week to see where we are going.)
After that I get to go to Vegas for work and then turn around and go back to Vegas 3 weeks later with some girlfriends!
2020 is going to be the year of weddings for us. I think so far we will be attending 6 not including our own.
We also will go on our big honeymoon in April/May and I am so so excited for that.
I also turn 30 this year. That is a whole other blog post for a different day, but obviously that's a big birthday.
These are just the things we have planned so far. I know there will be so many other things that happen this year and I can't wait to see where I'm at on December 31st, 2020.
I also hope this is a big year for the blog. Last year was the biggest yet and I can only hope to grow even more this year. I hope y'all will continue to follow along.
I also hope that 2020 is a great year for each and every one of you! Remember that you have 365 (now 364) chances to make this your best year yet!!
