Camo Dress

I am so excited about today's outfit!
I have a few different reasons for said excitment.
The first is the print of this dress.
If you've been around for a while you already know about my love for camo. If you're new let me start by telling you that camo is one of my favorite prints.
The second reason is this dress is so comfortable. If you've never heard of Z Supply do yourself a favor and order some pieces from them because they do basics like nobody else.
All of their silhouettes are super cute and flattering and the hand of all their fabrics is 10 out of 10!
And the third and probably most exciting thing is my dress is currently 30% off right now at my favorite boutique!
This is honestly a great piece to wear now around the house and when things are back up and running you can definitely wear it out and about!
That's definitely a win in my book because I want all the comfy clothes right now, but know I won't have a need for 20 pairs of sweatpants when things are back to normal.

Dress: Parkside Harbor (also want to snag this sweatshirt & this dress while the sale is going on.) | Denim Jacket: Old (similar here & here) | Purse: Rebecca Minkoff | Shoes: Adidas | Sunnies: Amazon | Lips: Ears Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm with Ulta Automatic Lip Liner in Rosewood on top

How's everyone holding up? It feels a little weird to end my posts this way, but I also think it's important to check on one another right now. (It's always important, but especially right now.)

What I Bought 3.23

Happy Sunday!
I usually never post on the blog on Sunday. In all honesty I had all intentions of getting this post up on Friday and it just didn't happen.
This past week I had an idea for a new post series. The series is "What I Bought This Week". At the end of each week I thought it could be interesting to share with y'all all the things I purchased.

I want to preface with I  understand that some people aren't shopping right now and that's ok and totally understandable. I realize that some people will think this is highly inappropriate given the timing and everything that's going on. I also understand where you are coming from. However, this is a fashion and lifestyle blog and hopefully somewhere you come for inspiration and possibly even aspiration. I will also say a lot of the things this week are justifiable for staying sane during quarantine.
So read on below if you are curious about what I bought this week.
Dining Room Table
J and I are both working from home now. We don't have an office and are setup at the kitchen table. With us both having a monitor and a laptop there is just not enough space. I found this table for pretty cheap and knew we could use it for a little while in our new house as well. We also have had our dining room table for 3 years now and it was a hand me down. This was much needed.
Adidas Ultraboost
I have been running outside 4-5 times a week since all the gyms closed. I get really bad shin splints and my running shoes were about a year and a half old. I decided to treat myself to a new pair. I found them on Amazon for a really good deal. They are also 30% off at Nordstrom right now.
Reusable Straws
We finally ran out of our plastic straws and I decided not to buy more. We have metal ones but my friends recommended these to me. I love them and so does J.
Blue Light Glasses
I need new glasses really bad. (It's on my list of things to do this year.) Until I can get new ones I thought I would try out some blue light ones since I am always on my phone or computer.
Where the Crawdad Sings
Really hoping to read a bunch during this time. I got this one, Winter in Paradise, and the Jessica Simpson one to start off with.
Colored Pencils
I've had an adult coloring book for a while and never gotten around to using it. Finally got some colored pencils and will be coloring this afternoon. If you need a coloring book I thought this one & this one looked good.
Self Tanner
It was on sale last week and being tan makes me feel better.
Tula Day and Night Moisturizer
This was also on sale and I use this stuff daily so thought it was a good time to get a backup.

I hope y'all liked this post. This week I bought some really random stuff I feel like. I probably won't do this every week, but thought it seemed like a fun/good way to share products with y'all.
As always I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. If you need to talk I'm always here! Send me an email, leave a comment or slide into my DMs on insta.

Seeing Stars

Hey friends!
Hows week 2 of quarantine going for everyone?
We are doing ok here. Definitely getting a little stir crazy, but still managing.
I am totally obsessed with today's outfit. I can't wait to wear this out and about after things get back to normal. (I actually shot this right before things got REAL bad.)
Let me start with this jacket. I have been wearing it non-stop since I got it in January.
It's great to throw on with jeans, a dress, skirts, really anything. It's super lightweight which is perfect for this time of year.
I kept things super casual with denim shorts and this bodysuit I got last summer. It's one of my favorites and still in stock. If you want to keep things casual you can pair it with jeans. If you want to dress it up, it looks great with skirts or dress pants. That's one of the best things about bodysuits... they are so easy to style. One thing to note: This bodysuit is a bit on the revealing side so just keep that in mind.

Jacket: Parkside Harbor | Bodysuit: Revolve | Shorts: Old Navy | Shoes: Adidas | Purse: Rebecca Minkoff | Sunnies: Amazon | Lips: NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm

I hope everyone is staying safe during this time and not going to crazy!
Thanks for stopping by and reading.

3. 5 books I want to read

This has been in my cart since it came out!

4. Daisy Jones & The Six
I'm really excited to read this book. It's currently in my cart along with 15 other books.

This has been on my list forever! Hoping to finally read it during this quarantine.

Bonus 3. 5 Books I've read recently and recommend
1. The After Series
I LOVEEEEDD this series! It would be a great one to start because the books are longggg.
2. The Wife Between & An Anonymous Girl
2 for 1 because they are by the same author. I really enjoyed these books. They are a little intense. Just a warning.
3. The Unhoneymooners
This is a good lighthearted quick read.
4. The Perfect Couple
I love this author. This was my favorite book I've read by her. A little mystery, but not super intense.
5. How to Walk Away
I liked this book more than I thought I would.

4. 5 Organizational things I love
I feel like so many people are using this time to clean and organize. (Myself included)

I don't have this, but I think I need it!
4. Makeup/Skincare Organizer

5. Earring Organizer & Jewelry Organizer
I have one piece that is these two pieces together and it's great for all my jewelry.

5. 5 At Home Workouts to Try
1. Tone It Up App
They are currently offering a free membership.
2. POPSUGAR Fitness
I've done a few workout classes on this platform before. I believe it's also free.
3. Bikini Body Guide
I've done this before (not all the way through) and it's HARD! There's also no equipment needed.
4. Pure Barre On Demand
I had a subscription to this for a year and really liked it every time I used it.
5. Instagram
There are so many people doing at home workouts right now on Instagram live.
I think it's so great how people are coming together during this time. Just search for some and they should come up.

So there you have my quarantine 5 on Friday.
Is there anything else you would like to see from me during this time?
I know this is such a weird/crazy time and I'm trying to keep things as normal as possible around here. However, I think it would be weird to not address it at all.
There will definitely be a mix of content for the next little while.
I hope you all are doing well and are able to enjoy this upcoming weekend!

Work From Home Essentials

In the last week many of us have gone from working in an office on a daily basis to working from home! I am one of those people. So while I can't give you tips on how to effectively WFH, I can show you some things to make it more enjoyable.
Below I've rounded up some things to spruce up your work space. I always feel like I can work better when I have a cute work space. You might already have some of these items at your office that you can bring home. You might also find this is a great time to give your desk a refresh or add a few new things!
P.S. All these are from Amazon and can be here in 2 days with Prime!
My co-worker has this and it's super cute but ,also very functional.
Super necessary for me! lol
Love this one. I might have to order for myself and replace my boring black one.
Can you ever have too many notebooks? The limit does not exist.
Thinking of buying this now and bringing it to my office when it's time to go back.
I have this on my desk at my office and I love it!
I also have a coaster in my work space. Keeps condensation from getting on my papers.
Important to stay hydrated. A cute new tumbler always does this trick for me.
Just adds a little life to your desk. I have one a friend gave me for Galentine's Day. This is a set of 3.
I don't really have a need for these but thought they were cute if you did have a need for them!
I am thinking of ordering these for when I do go back to my office.
Ordering this because I work on a glass table which isn't ideal for a mouse.
This is so cute if you need a new stapler! Looks like Kate Spade but wayyyyy cheaper!

What are your work from home necessities? How are you adapting to working from home if this is new for you? I would love to hear about it in the comments.

Slip Dress

Happy Tuesday!
How is everyone doing? This is such a weird time right now. And while I don't want too spend too much time talking about it, I definitely think it needs to be addressed. Today's outfit seems like such a silly thing to share given the state of everything but I hope that y'all are still reading blogs for inspiration. And if nothing else to get your mind off all the crazy/scary/sad things going on. I can't promise that content will make the most sense right now, but I would like to keep things as "normal" as possible around here. I would also like to say that if you need to share your feelings or someone to talk to during this hard time please feel free to leave a comment, send and email, DM me on Instagram or whatever is easiest for you. I can tell you that social distancing and self quarantine is going to be a little hard for this social girl.
Let's talk about this dress now shall we? I bought this back in January for my trip to Vegas. I also knew I would get a lot of use out of it for date nights. I love that the print isn't your typical leopard print. I also love the slit and cowl neckline. It's super flattering. I shot this look in Jacksonville but basically wore the same thing on our last night in Vegas when we went to Vanderpump!
This is a great piece to buy now for when you can get back to regular date nights in a few months hopefully!

Dress: Vici Collection | Jacket: Topshop (similar here & here) | Shoes: Steve Madden | Purse: Rebecca Minkoff | Sunnies: Amazon | Lipstick: Nars Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm with Ulta Automatic Lip Liner in Rosewood on top

I hope everyone is staying safe and I appreciate you stopping by!

101 in 1001 Update

Y'all!
I am so sorry that I have been MIA lately and that this is the first blog post in like 2ish weeks!
Things have been super busy and I've been feeling a little uninspired. (I've also been stuck in a book series. More on that later.)
But I'm finally feeling inspired and have lots of content I'm excited to share. ( I just need to get it shot. haha)
Today I thought I would share an update on my 101 in 1001. I posted this for the first time back in October of 2017. I kind of forgot about the list honestly.
