Bell Sleeves

So I’m not gonna lie, I kinda forgot about Zara a little bit.  When I lived in NYC, I would pop into one probably once a week because they are EVERYWHERE! After moving back to Florida, I always forget that I’m lucky to have one at the mall close to me. (They are few and far in-between here.)
Anyway, I finally stopped by the other day and I want literally EVERYTHING!
No seriously, Zara just take all my money right now.
I had to quickly reel it in and talk myself out of spending all my money. Nevertheless, I did walk out with a few pieces I love including this dress.
Let me tell you this dress is not practical for work.
For starters, it wrinkles while you’re sitting at your desk all day. Big sleeves, plus open pens, drink cups; papers and typing don’t exactly mix. In addition, it has built in shorts so if you drink a lot of coffee, water, diet dr. pepper like I do during the day, and have to pee every 5 minutes it can be a real pain.
Now that I have given you a million (ok 3) reasons not to buy this dress, I’m going to tell you to forget about all that and buy it anyway. Because it’s cute and that’s really all that matters! Seriously, how can you live without this dress? I mean look at these sleeves! And the pinstripes…I’m dying! Sometimes (or all the time if you’re me) cute and fun, beats out practical and functional.

Pretty in Pink

Y’all, how perfect is this dress?
I seriously love EVERYTHING about it. The color is what first caught my eye. It is the perfect shade of pink. I also love the big front pockets. They’re ideal for your phone, little wallet, or my personal favorite…hiding snacks! Haha.
Where is this adorable dress from you ask? COS.
(My BFF works there and got me this for my birthday. Thanks Aust!)
If you have never heard of COS they are under The H&M group and I definitely recommend you check their site or store if there is one near you. Their style is very clean and simplistic but the different silhouettes and fabrications will make you fall in love. They are also big on styling things with white sneakers, like I did here and I’m somewhat obsessed!

Dress: COS | Shoes: H&M | Bag: Nordstrom (Doesn't look like my color selection is available.) | Sunnies: ilymix (Use code BLONDE20 for 20% off your entire purchase) | Lipstick: Smashbox Be Legendary Cream Lipstick in Primrose with Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Gloss in Disco Rose

Summer Weekends

I don’t know what has gotten into me but this has been my go to weekend uniform lately. I’m typically NOT a shorts gal (my thighs are not my favorite body part) but the last few weeks I’ve been grabbing shorts over dresses when running around town on the weekend. In addition, to make things really casual I’ve been throwing on one of these tee’s from H&M that I’ve recently become obsessed with (last seen here) and comfy shoes to finish the look.
Not sure, who I think I am but I’ll admit I kind of love this low maintenance laid back style.
