New Year's Eve Ringing in 2018

Now that Christmas is officially over (did it absolutely fly by for anyone else?), its time to look forward to New Year’s Eve!
This is one of my favorite holidays because I love dressing up in sparkles, doing my hair and makeup, and celebrating the New Year. Plus I love taking time to reflect on the past year, and look forward to the new one. Today I’m sharing my picks for what to wear. This romper is probably one of my favorite NYE outfits I’ve ever worn. This outfit is from about 4 years ago, and therefore, I think it’s finally safe to repeat it and no one will notice.
Since this is super old, I’ve got you covered with a lot of current options.
The most important thing to figure out before picking your outfit is where you will be and what your plans are. It’s usually on the warmer side here in Florida for New Years Eve, so I can get away with a romper. However, if we had ended up going to Nashville like we discussed, I would need something totally different. Also if you have tickets to a party those might have a dress code, and you may want to make sure to check that out.
The one thing you can never go wrong with for NYE is sparkles. No matter how cold or casual your plans are, you can always incorporate sparkle in some way, shape, or form. (See a more casual but cold weather appropriate look here.) If sparkles aren’t your thing, I’ve also linked non-sequin options below. No matter what your plans are to ring in 2018 I hope you have the best time in the most fabulous outfit, and I will see y’all next year!

Romper: Windsor old (love this & this) | Shoes: Steve Madden | Sunnies: Nordstrom (similar here & here) | Earrings: BaubleBar last year (VERY similar here) | Lipstick: Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red

Here are more of my picks for New Year's Eve:

Pajama Dressing for Christmas

With Christmas just a few short days away, I thought I would share this outfit that is PERFECT for the holiday.
OK we all know pajama dressing is a trend. (If you’re unfamiliar it’s wearing shirts, pants or sets that look similar to pajamas.) Well this shirt is a true bedtime shirt. Ha
I love the colors of the plaid, and thought I could totally style this as daywear. I threw on this duster vest (mostly to hide the VS monogram on the pocket), some heels and my favorite pair of cropped denim and absolutely loved the outcome. At first I thought it was a little crazy to actually wear this out of the house but, then I realized no one would know I basically woke up like this. I even asked J when we got home from shooting if he realized I was wearing my PJ shirt and he goes “Oh! I didn’t even notice. I guess that is your sleep shirt.” He might not be the best person to ask but, he would totally be the first to call me out on wearing my jammies out of the house.
If you’re still thinking about what to wear for Christmas I highly suggest going the PJ route!

Shirt: Victoria's Secret (this years version here) | Jeans: Articles of Society | Duster Vest: H&M old (similar here, jacket version here & here) | Shoes: BCBGeneration old (similar here) | Purse: Kate Spade (similar here) | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Lipstick: Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red | Earrings: Old (love these & here)

Has everyone finished their Christmas shopping? I haven’t and I am going to be the busiest little elf until Christmas. We have a party tonight; I need to shop & clean the house on Friday, finish shopping and prep for our Christmas party on Saturday night, and we have another get together on Christmas Eve and then finally the big day! Whew that made me exhausted just typing that.
What are your plans leading up to December 25th? I’d love to hear all about them in the comments below.

Gift Guide: Jetsetter

Happy Hump Day...again.
M second gift guide today is for the jetsetter in your life. I tried to find a mix of things that are good for the plane and for when they arrive at their destination. The key to a lot of these gifts is making travel easy and comfortable. (Those are the two things I think are most important to enjoy your trip.) There are a few things on here I use when I travel as well as some things that are on my wish list. Again, I made sure all these items are available for Christmas delivery. I would suggest trying to buy anything you still need online today as most stores Christmas delivery guarantee cut off is today.
Happy shopping!

Hard Shell Luggage (Comes in a set of 2 & singles)
Rose Water Spray (Super hydrating. Great to mist on your face before, during, & after flights.)
Backpack (I love using a backpack for a carry on because it keeps your hands free.)
Crossbody Bag (Good for staying hands free)
Nike Shoes  (Comfy shoes great for exploring)
Camera (I'm not sure the best one for travel, but I would say something small.)
Ugg Slippers (For flights and walking around hotel rooms)
Leggings (Good for flights and exploring)
Blanket Scarf (Works as a blanket on a cold plane and as a scarf/wrap at your destination.)

Gift Guide: Beauty for Her & Him

Hi lovelies!
Happy Hump Day!
Today I have a couple last minute gift guides. We are really getting down the the wire so I made sure all the below can be ordered & delivered in time for Christmas or potentially purchased in store. This git guide is for the beauty lover in your life. It feels weird saying that because I have a section for guys, but sometimes they need "beauty" products too.

For Him:
Cologne Chrome Eau De Toilette (20% off at Ulta until Christmas Eve)
Clinique Sunscreen (Great if your guy golfs or does other outdoor activities regularly)
Shave Set from Dollar Shave Club (You can buy products or buy him a membership)
Crew Hair Product (Whatever your guys favorite product is)

For Her:
Tula Gift Card (I love Tula and it has completely changed my skin. I'm not sure it can arrive in time for Christmas which is why I put a gift card. Skincare can also be hard to buy for people unless they already use a certain brand.)
Clarisonic (Lots of different gift sets available)
Pureology Shampoo & Conditioner (Love this brand, but it is a bit pricey)
Sephora Face Mask (I love these and the price point is AMAZING! The Blue Clay is my favorite)
Estee Lauder Kit (I use Estee Lauder Serums and Eye Creams and I have noticed such a difference in my skins appearance)
Dyson Hair Dryer (Pretty pricey but I've heard great things! This is on my list every year.)
Makeup Eraser (I've heard such GREAT things about this)

Sequin Blazer

With Christmas less than a week away, that means NYE is less than TWO weeks away!
Today I wanted to take a break from Christmas content, and share a fun NYE outfit. This one is a little more on the casual side, (if you can even be casual while wearing sequins), but there’s something about it I absolutely love!
I got this sequin blazer a few years ago, and I love breaking it out this time of year. I paired it with leather pants and a black tank here, as to keep things super chic for New Years! This would be perfect if you want to dress up a little, but not be over the top. If you have plans for dinner or a low-key party this would be perfect! It is also ideal if New Year’s Eve is a little on the cooler side where you live.
Like I said my blazer is a couple years old, but I’ve linked some equally great options below!

Blazer: Old (similar hereherehere, & here) | Pants: GB (also love these) | Tank: Nordstrom old (similar here & here love this) | Shoes: Sam Edelman old (almost identical here similar here & here) | Sunnies: Sonix | Lipstick: Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red

Check back tomorrow for a special Wednesday post! I’ll have two gift guides for any last minute shopping you may need to do. I’ll have a “beauty” gift guide for her & him, plus a gift guide for the jetsetter in your life.
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see y’all tomorrow!

It's Tuesday so I'm linking up with TheFashion CanvasVisions of VogueWalking in Memphis in High Heels, & The Styled Fox for the Trend Spin Linkup!
