Holiday Dress 2 Ways

I can't believe Christmas is 10 days away.
I'm so excited to share today's outfit with y'all. It's literally the perfect Christmas dress. (Or NYE dress.)
Since my stomach has started to grow, it can be a bit difficult to get dressed.
I knew I had a few events coming up where I would need to dress up and I wanted to make sure I was comfortable. When I saw this emerald green dress, I just had to have it. Since I already own it in another color I was able to try that on and figure out what size I would need. I was so happy when I realized I could order my regular size to wear now and then it would obviously fit me after baby as well.
(I will say that this one is a good 4-6 inches shorter than the other color I own. Gotta love the inconsistency in brands.)
I decided to show you how I would style it 2 different ways.
One is more dressed up with fun heels and the other I paired with booties & tights for a bit more casual look.
I honestly love it both ways.

Dress: Free People (more colors here) | Tights: Etsy | Booties: TJ Maxi (identical here) | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Earrings: Target | Lips: Ulta Automatic Lip Liner in Rosewood with Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Love Liberty on top | Heels: Lulus

Which option is your favorite? I honestly can't choose. I wore it with heels for J's work party and I might opt for the boots when I go to the Nutcracker with my mom this weekend.
I mentioned above that it comes in a few color options. If you are still on the hunt for NYE I think the black or cream would be beautiful to ring in the new year!

Shackets Continued

If you followed me last Fall/Winter, you're probably aware that I love shackets.
You'll be glad to know that my love is still going strong this year since they are still a pretty big trend.
I saw this particular one when I was browsing for Fall clothes a few months ago. I loved the length and the fact that it was a little oversized. It seemed like a great option for Florida winter. Once I got it in the mail I quickly realized why I loved it so much... I own pretty much the exact same shacket in a textured beige version from the same retailer. (#CreatureOfHabit over here.)
Since it is so oversized I decided to keep things fitted on the bottom with some of my favorite faux leather leggings. If you like the look of Spanx, but not the price tag, then there are for you! They now come with an even more flattering waistband. (I'm honestly debating ordering a pair for next year when I don't have a bump.)
Lastly I want to talk about this henley. It was one of the things at the top of my Nsale wishlist this year. I was so happy that I was able to snag it. I feel like it's really cute and can be dressed up a bit or worn with leggings and sneakers. I'm also loving it even more now that I'm pregnant. I'd actually like to find it in a couple other colors. I haven't had any luck though.

Top: Free People | Shacket: Sold out (similar herehere, & here) | Leggings: Aerie | Boots: Nordstrom | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Lipstick: Ulta Automatic Lip Liner in Orchid with Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in Secret Selma  and Too Faced Lip Injection Power Plumping Gloss in Wifey for Lifey on top

How's everyone feeling about holiday shopping? Are you done or still have some more to do? I have a few more gift guides I want to try and get together by the end of the week. I know shipping deadlines are coming up soon so after the middle of next week they probably won't be helpful.

Dad Jeans

As much as I like my skinny jeans, I love that other styles of denim are making a comeback.
I'm definitely loving all the 90's styles.
When I saw these, I had to add them to my cart immediately.
I love the cut of the leg and that the button part has the slight cross-over. (I think that is so flattering and slimming.)
I also really love this bodysuit. Bodysuits are great for giving you a tucked in look with clean lines. The cutout is subtle, but gives it a little something extra. This one is no longer online, but it comes in a long sleeve version that is great now that it's getting colder. (I honestly shot this look probably 2 months ago.)
This whole outfit reminds me of something my late elementary/early middle school self would have worn to the skating rink with all my friends on a Friday night. Obviously a little updated and appropriate for my age now.
I'm actually really sad because I only got to wear these jeans a few times before they got too tight with my little bump.
Hopefully they will still be in style next Fall and I can promise you will catch me in them non stop.

Top: Abercrombie sold out (long sleeve version here and similar short sleeve here) | Denim: Abercrombie | Shoes: Target | Earrings: Kendra Scott | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Lips: Ulta Automatic Lip Liner in Orchid with Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk and Too Face Lip Injection Gloss in Wifey for Life on top

Falling for Midi Skirts

WOW!
It's been a minute since I wrote an outfit blog post.
Things have been so crazy lately. I have a million ideas for the blog and ZERO time to execute I feel like.
Anyway, today I am very excited to share this outfit with you. It's something I will be wearing on repeat the next few months.
It would also make a great Thanksgiving outfit which is why I forced myself to sit down and write this post.
Let's get into it shall we?
Every Fall I rediscover my love of midi skirts.
Not to say I don't wear them in the Spring or Summer, but there's something about Fall that makes me gravitate towards them more.
I saw this one probably 2 months ago when I was browsing online and immediately added it to my cart.
I loved the pleats and the color was so pretty. It was also very different from anything I had in my closet.
I had envisioned pairing it with a sweater to keep it kind of dressy, but when I got this sweatshirt in the mail I knew it would be perfect with this skirt.
I like the casual meets dressy look because you can be comfy while still looking put together.
This is also why it would make an amazing Thanksgiving outfit.
The skirt will make you look put together, but you can still be super cozy in a sweatshirt. It's also an elastic waist skirt which is always ideal for Thanksgiving.

Skirt: H&M (I also really like this one.) | Sweatshirt: Benton & Spring | Booties: Marc Fischer *currently on pre-black Friday sale! | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Bag: Tory Burch | Earrings: Amazon | Necklace: Parkside Harbor | Lips: Ulta Automatic Lip Liner in Raspberry with Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in Secret Selma & Too Faced Lip Injection Power Plumping Lip Gloss in Wifey for Life

Gift Guide 2021: Beauty Lover

Kicking off the holiday gift guides with one of my favorites... BEAUTY!
I feel like there are always so many good gift sets for the holidays. Whether you're gifting a friend, family member or yourself, there's something for everyone! I might even need to add a couple of these items to my own Christmas wish-list.
These are the perfect stocking stuffer. Love that them come as a cute little ornament.
I love this lip gloss. It goes on so smooth and is not sticky at all.
This is definitely going on my wish-list. There are 3 different lights to target 3 different skincare needs.
I got last years version and I'm obsessed! Highly recommend as a gift or for yourself.
These are so easy to apply and they come in the prettiest colors.
These are supposed to make such a difference in your hair and skin.
Another thing I am adding to my wishlist. This is great for your beauty loving friend that travels a lot. Hotel lighting is always AWFUL for doing your makeup IMO.
Now is the time to buy bushes. They always have so many good sets.
Give the gift of an at home spa experience. I have been debating snagging one of these for myself. Might just have to use the holidays as an excuse.
These are my favorite lip item lately. This would make a great stocking stuffer. It comes in a pack of two so gift one and keep one for yourself.
This is great for the gal that likes to change up her curls.
This is such a great overnight lip treatment. Makes a great gift because we all know colder weather means chapped lips.
This is great because it's got a bunch of different stuff. It really makes the perfect gift.
The ultimate splurge gift. I love the navy blue. I think this is just for holiday.
This is THE BEST dry shampoo! I definitely need to snag this with the travel size.
Another splurge worthy item. This one is a micro needling set.

Pumpkin Patch Outfits

FINALLY! Getting a blog post up.
I originally wanted to get this up on October 1, but I guess 5 days late is better than never.
Since it's officially pumpkin season I thought I would round up some cute outfits you can wear to the pumpkin patch. Or apple picking. Or whatever Fall activities you might have planned.
I tried my best to do a mix of warm and cool climate options.
Layering is always a great option to make a dress or romper more cold weather appropriate.
A little pricey, but totally worth it!
This gives me Lack of Color vibes for a fraction of the price.
I love these sunnies.
Great Gucci dupes.
The best leggings!

I just love this time of year!
What do you have planned for Fall activities this year? Let me know in the comments so I can add to my list.

Electric Toothbrush from Smile Brilliant

Y'all may remember that I worked with Smile Brilliant in the past using their at home teeth whitening system. (You can see my results here & here)
When they reached out about testing some other products I immediately said yes! I decided their toothbrush would probably be the best fit since one of my goals this year was to focus more on my overall health which includes my oral health.
The cariPRO (Smile Brilliants very own electric toothbrush) has a ton of amazing features including a 30+ day battery life, 5 different cleaning modes, and timed brushing.
Let's break all of these down.
30+ day battery life:
This means you can travel with your toothbrush and don't have to worry about bringing the charger. (Unless you plan to be gone more than 30 days.)
I personally bring so many things when I travel so not having to worry about a charger for my toothbrush is a win.
5 different cleaning modes:
  • White - Most powerful cleaning mode for removing surface stains, polishing and vigorous deep cleaning
  • Massage - Gentle gum pulsation mode for gum stimulation.
  • Gum Care - Gum mode for gentle cleaning along the gumline.
  • Sensitive - Ideal for users who find the default clean mode to be slightly too aggressive. This gentle cleaning mode is tuned well for those who have sensitive gums and teeth.
  • Clean - Standard mode for superior daily cleaning

I love that there are a ton of different settings.
Some of these settings even make me feel like I'm are getting a dentist office cleaning from the comfort of my own home.
Since my teeth are on the sensitive side I usually use white mode once a week and then sensitive the rest of the time. Even using sensitive mode my teeth feel extremely clean!
Timed Bushing:
This is probably my favorite feature of the toothbrush.
According to the American Dental Association you should brush your teeth for 2 minutes each time you brush. Did anyone know that? I sure didn't and I can promise you that I was not brushing for 2 minutes before. This electric toothbrush not only runs for 2 minutes, but it buzzes every 30 seconds to let you know to switch quadrants. This is great so you know you are spending the same (and correct) amount of time on all your teeth.

Those are my favorite features, but it's also worth mentioning the cariPRO removes 7x more plaque than a manual toothbrush, has 40k vibrations per minute and can improve your gum health in as little as 2 weeks.
Overall I have been extremely pleased with my results from the cariPRO. I can't wait to go to the dentist next and see if they notice a difference.

If you're interested in trying it for yourself you can shop it here and use code "fashionablylateblonde20" for 20% off your purchase. That will work on their whitening system as well as any other product on their site.
