Suede Moto Jacket

If you've been around for a while y'all know I love my leather moto jacket. It's a piece I feel like everyone needs in their closet. It goes with literally EVERYTHING in my opinion.
Now let's talk about the leather Moto jackets sister... the suede Moto jacket.
I have been wanting this exact jacket for a few years now and could never bring myself to pull the trigger. (It is a little on the pricier side, but totally worth every penny!)
It's always included in the Nordstrom Sale and I still could never bring myself to buy it... until this year! I actually had the cheaper less structured version on my wishlist, but by the time I could shop it was sold out. This one was still available and I said why not? You've been wanting this for years and it's clearly not going out of style any time soon so I did it! I bought the jacket and I am so glad I did.
I think of it just like my leather jacket in that it goes with so many things. I also think the suede is a great option for transiting to Spring. With the tan color and lighter material it would look so cute over a little floral dress. It also isn't as harsh as black against the pastels of Spring.
I also love that I now have a jacket to wear with my leather leggings. (Call my crazy but I don't love my leather jacket with my leather leggings.)
I kept things super neutral and simple here, but the options really are endless.
I linked my exact jacket below which is currently on sale. Hurry though because it's selling quick. I also linked the other option I had my eye on. It's also on sale.

Jacket: Nordstrom (Other one I had my eye on here. Also love this fun fringe oneAnd one more.) | Top: Target currently on clearance | Leggings: Aerie V similar to Spanx | Booties: Old (similar here) | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Lips: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague

What are your thoughts on a suede jacket? Do you have one? Do you love it? Tell me about it in the comments. I hope y'all have a great weekend! I am so happy tomorrow is Friday. I am also celebrating 2 birthdays this weekend so it will be nice to see some friends. This has been a long week. Thank you so much for stopping by and reading today's post.

Valentine's Day Outfit Inspo

As promised today I have some Valentine's Day outfit inspiration. I tried to make it as diverse as possible since I'm sure everyone's plans will be different. Whether you plan in staying in PJs all day or going to a fancy dinner I think I've got ya covered.
I've been obsessed with this mesh sleeve style lately.
Such a cute set and only $25!
This is cute for Valentine's Day and beyond.
This could be dressed up or down.
This is an adorable little set. I have so many lounge pieces from this company and they are the BEST!
I have this shirt from a couple years ago and wear it every year.
I have this in blue and love it!
This comes in a ton of colors and looks great on.
This is such a beautiful dress. If you have really fancy plans this is the dress for you.
This looks perfect for a more casual look. Paired with jeans and a cute pair of booties would be perfect for a laid back day date!

Which style are you thinking for February 14th?

Valentine's Day Jumpsuit

Can y'all believe Valentine's Day is just a couple weeks away?
I'm curious what everyone's plans are? Are you going out or staying in?
We will probably go out the Friday night before and just chill at home that Sunday.
If you are heading out I've got the perfect jumpsuit for a fancy dinner with your honey. (Or your gal pals.)
I originally thought this jumpsuit was more of a blush color, but I actually love that it's a little more brown. I definitely plan on wearing this to dinner on Friday before V-day. I paired it with a pink lip here, but it would also look great with red. Maybe even add a pearl clip or some fun statement earrings. The options are endless. This is also a great transitional piece. If it's still cold where you like it would pair perfectly with a faux fur or leather jacket.
I would recommend sizing up if you're in-between sizes. Since it's a silky fabric it definitely clings to your body. I sized up to a large for reference.

Jumpsuit: Abercrombie | Shoes: Target (these are great if you want more height) | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Lips: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague
Would look so cute with this faux fur jacket!!

Tomorrow I'll have some other Valentine's Day outfit options for ya. There will be a mix of casual and dressy so no matter what your plans are I've got ya covered in the outfit department. They will also be great options if you're celebrating Galentine's Day on Saturday, February 13th! I'm debating kicking J out and having some friends over for wine and charcuterie. haha

Dressed up Shacket

Y'all already know about my love for the shacket.
(If not see herehere, & here)
I've got 2 more ways to style them for ya and then I promise to stop. Well maybe I don't promise to stop completely. I will try to share less outfits involving the shacket.
I've done the athleisure look and the jeans look so I thought I would pair it with a dress.
I kept things a little edgy with my new combat boots. I feel like this style/plaid really lends itself to that.
I love that if you get warm you can just tie it around your waist and it still looks great. I would honestly just wear it that way from the start. It cinches your waist and really just adds to the outfit.

Dress: Target | Shacket: Shein | Boots: JustFab | Sunnies: Amazon | Purse: Rebecca Minkoff | Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk
Fun Fact: I wore this dress on our mini moon in Paris last year and then again this year on our anniversary trip. It's such a good piece.

Sweat Set 2021

We all know 2020 was the year of lounge wear. I mean has anyone ever wore as many yoga pants or matching sweat suits in their life? (Maybe in 2004 when Juicy track suits were all the rage. Other than that though.)
I must say since I'm still working from home for the foreseeable future I have no intention to stop wearing said lounge wear.
I saw this right before Christmas on another blogger and thought it was so freaking cute. I waited to pull the trigger on it and I'm not sure why I did. It's so freaking cute. I love all the little details. The ruffles on the sleeves for starters are just to die for. You could easily pair it with leather leggings for a more dressed up look. I also love the tassel drawstring on the joggers. It really elevates them. Did I also mention the length is AMAZING for short girls? I am 5'4 and I wish all my joggers hit where these do. (I did size down to a small here for a more fitted look. The medium fit great as well. That would be my normal size.)
If you wanted to get real crazy you could pair the joggers with a chambray shirt and some heels for a more dressed up lounge look. (You know I'm always trying to make multiple outfits out of all the pieces I buy.)
I have to say I think this has taken the top spot for favorite set in my closet currently.

Top: Target | Pants: Target | Shoes: DSW | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk with Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Cake Shake on top | Jacket: Old (similar here & here)

What do you think about lounge wear in 2021? Are you over it? I think it's probably here to stay. I am definitely going to embrace that!
I hope y'all have a great week and thank you for stopping by.
