Bumpin Bodycon

I definitely thought dressing my bump would be super easy. Especially because I majority of my pregnancy was in Fall/Winter. Give me a pair of leggings and an oversized sweater and we'll call it a day. However, I have to admit I have struggled a bit recently. The weather has been changing and my bump feels like it's growing by the day. 

My one go-to this whole time has been a bodycon dress. 

If you've followed me for a while you know that I have a love/hate relationship with bodycon dresses. Sometimes I love them. Sometimes I hate them. haha

I quickly learned though that they can be a pregnant girls best friend. 

I picked this one up from Target a couple months ago and figured it could grow with me. 

I styled it here for Spring with a leather jacket and some booties.

It would also be cute with a jean jacket and white sneakers or by itself with a pair of sandals.

I took my regular size medium and honestly, it's a little big. Will definitely last me these last 7 weeks!

How is everyone doing? This is such a weird time right now. And while I don't want too spend too much time talking about it, I definitely think it needs to be addressed. Today's outfit seems like such a silly thing to share given the state of everything but I hope that y'all are still reading blogs for inspiration. And if nothing else to get your mind off all the crazy/scary/sad things going on. I can't promise that content will make the most sense right now, but I would like to keep things as "normal" as possible around here. I would also like to say that if you need to share your feelings or someone to talk to during this hard time please feel free to leave a comment, send and email, DM me on Instagram or whatever is easiest for you. I can tell you that social distancing and self quarantine is going to be a little hard for this social girl. 

Let's talk about this dress now shall we? I bought this back in January for my trip to Vegas. I also knew I would get a lot of use out of it for date nights. I love that the print isn't your typical leopard print. I also love the slit and cowl neckline. It's super flattering. I shot this look in Jacksonville but basically wore the same thing on our last night in Vegas when we went to Vanderpump! 

This is a great piece to buy now for when you can get back to regular date nights in a few months hopefully!

Dreamy Fall Boho Dress

I hope y'all like this dress because you are probably going to be seeing it a lot this fall! 

When I first saw this dress at the Fig & Willow Fall Fashion event I was immediately drawn to it. I knew I had to try it on. I also knew before I even tried it on that I was going to love it. 

When you first look at this dress you might not see it as a fall piece. I'm here to change your mind about that. 

As soon as I saw this dress I styled it a million different ways. The first way that came to mind was the way I styled it below. I loved the thought of how soft, flowy and feminine the dress was juxtaposed with the harshness of black booties and a leather jacket. It was one of those outfits I had in my head and when I saw it in real life it was better than I imagined. The hard and soft elements just really spoke to me. I literally would wear this outfit everyday if that was socially acceptable. 

I also love it with a jean jacket and taupe booties, brown bootie and a suede jacket, and a million other options! And don't forget to add a hat to any and all of these outfits to really up your fall style game!

Leopard Slip Dress Take 3

Happy Tuesday! 

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend. Mine has been extended due to hurricane Dorian. It's been a waiting game for what feels like a week now. Wind definitely picked up today and the ocean was really rough. Just a little bit of rain here and there, but all that should pick-up significantly tomorrow. (Tomorrow will be the worst day for us. Although it will be NOTHING like what the Bahamas just experienced. It is so crazy what that storm just did to the Abacos and Grand Bahamas. My heart truly goes out to everyone there.) 

Now that I've given y'all a little hurricane update let's talk about the third and final way I styled this dress. (Although there are still a million other ways I could style this.) 

This outfit has me ready for fall. I LOVE leather jackets and can't wait to actually wear mine.  Throwing on a leather jacket and booties makes this dress instantly ready for fall. It's such an easy way to transition any of your dresses or tanks to fall/winter.
