Linen Pants

 Linen is the fabric of Summer.

And linen pants are definitely a Summer wardrobe must-have.

I usually have a hard time with linen pants. I feel like the just kind of hang there and don't really do anything for my body. When I saw these I thought they were so flattering.

I love how wide the leg is, but they are slightly fitted in the thigh area. 

I kept things simple here with a white tank and heels. (I have to wear heels because they are pretty long.) 

I also think they would look really cool with white sneakers and a slightly oversized button down shirt. 

You could really style these a million different ways. Definitely something to snag for these last few weeks of Summer.

Linen Set

 Y'all already know I love linen for the Summer.

I've actually been looking for a linen set for a while now. Abercrombie has a ton of really cute ones, but they always sell out so quick.

I was placing a big Shein order a month ago and came across this one. I figured why not try it out. 

I'm glad I did because it fits perfectly. 

I've actually worn it a few times since I got it. 

I love that it's really versatile and you can dress it up a bit or go super casual.

It's would also be great as separates. I think the top would look so cute with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans.

It does have an open back, which I absolutely love. (I didn't get a photo of it though.)

I know Shein can be a little intimidating, but I honestly have never had any issues. I will say I do usually size up in most things. (This is a large and it fits great. Even the top which I am usually never a large unless I want something oversized.)

Summer Blazer

Happy Thursday friends!

I have been a little off my posting schedule, and I hate that so much! With something going on every weekend in May, and the fact that it’s been raining for what feels like 2 weeks; it’s been a struggle to create content. I feel like I’ve even been slacking with instagram posts. The good news is, I finally got some outfits shot last weekend, and will be getting more shot this weekend. So, I will be back to normal next week.

With that out of the way, let’s talk about today’s outfit shall we?

Let my start by saying you need this blazer in your life. I saw it about a month ago and immediately fell in love. I didn’t pull the trigger right away because it was a little pricey. Last week I was browsing Nordstrom for the half yearly sale, and I saw this baby was a part of it!! (I instantly hit add to cart and whipped out my credit card.)

If the fact that it’s on sale hasn’t made you already check it out, let me tell you all the other reasons you need this blazer. First the color is PERFECT for summer; because it pairs with blue denim AND white denim. I also like that the sleeves are already cinched, so you don’t have to roll them if you don’t want to. And if you’re thinking why do I need a blazer when summer is about to start; this one is a linen texture and super lightweight. Great for that freezing cold office! Plus its boyfriend cut which makes it easy to dress up or down.
