Wedding Guest Jumpsuit

Happy Tuesday!

I can’t believe it is already July! I mean Thursday is July 4^th! What are everyone’s plans? We will be doing our usual biking, beach and pool!

Sorry for my mini hiatus. I had the time to post in NYC it was just so hot and kinda rainy so I wasn’t super motivated to get stuff done.

Today I’m sharing one of my FAVORITE jumpsuits with y’all! If you can’t tell by the name it is perfect for weddings. I think I have actually worn it to at least 3-4 weddings. Haha. I got the black version because it’s just so classic. If you aren’t into wearing black to weddings it also comes in a few other colors. (Navy is always a great option that is similar to black.) It’s super flattering and I feel like I can enjoy all the hors d’oeurvres, entrees and dessert and still feel comfortable. I also feel like I never spend the whole night pulling the top up despite it being strapless.

The only downside is that it is pretty long. I’m 5’4 and wear my tallest heels to make it ok. (I know I could get it hemmed, but just never had the time.) If you are shorter than 5’6 or don’t like to wear really high heels you will definitely need to take it to the seamstress before wearing it. If you have any weddings coming up I highly recommend checking out this jumpsuit. The best part is that it can work for any time of the year! That’s always a win in my book.

Wedding Wednesday: White Outfit Options

Happy Hump Day!!

Today I finally have another Wedding Wednesday for y'all. (My goal is to do at least one a month...)

There are so many great white pieces out there right now. Now is the perfect time to stock up for your bachelorette, bridal shower, & rehearsal dinner.  (Especially if you are getting married in the winter. There won't be as many white pieces out there during that time.)

What to Wear: Outdoor Wedding

Wedding season is just around the corner, and I have one coming up in a couple of weeks; and one of my friends basically has a wedding every other week from now until May.

One of the first things I think about when I get an invitation is what I’m going to wear. There are a few things to consider when figuring this out. Where is it, the time of year, and if there is a dress code. One of my favorite places to look for wedding attire is Lulu’s! They have the BEST selection of dresses, short dresses, long dresses, casual dresses and cocktail dresses. Seriously, if you can’t find a dress here you probably won’t find one. I found this dress last April when I was heading to my cousins wedding on a plantation in South Carolina. (This dress would also be perfect for a beach wedding, or any other outdoor venue.) The nice thing about this dress is that you can dress it up, or down. If you are headed to a casual beach wedding, you can throw on a pair of sandals and keep your accessories very minimal. If you’re going to a fancy evening wedding, pair it with some amazing heels, lots of jewels, and some really glam makeup and you will be good to go. Also if green isn’t your color, this dress comes in 8 other colors! All of which are perfect for a spring wedding. (That’s another great thing about Lulu’s…most of their dresses come in multiple colors.)
