Suede Moto Jacket

If you've been around for a while y'all know I love my leather moto jacket. It's a piece I feel like everyone needs in their closet. It goes with literally EVERYTHING in my opinion.
Now let's talk about the leather Moto jackets sister... the suede Moto jacket.
I have been wanting this exact jacket for a few years now and could never bring myself to pull the trigger. (It is a little on the pricier side, but totally worth every penny!)
It's always included in the Nordstrom Sale and I still could never bring myself to buy it... until this year! I actually had the cheaper less structured version on my wishlist, but by the time I could shop it was sold out. This one was still available and I said why not? You've been wanting this for years and it's clearly not going out of style any time soon so I did it! I bought the jacket and I am so glad I did.
I think of it just like my leather jacket in that it goes with so many things. I also think the suede is a great option for transiting to Spring. With the tan color and lighter material it would look so cute over a little floral dress. It also isn't as harsh as black against the pastels of Spring.
I also love that I now have a jacket to wear with my leather leggings. (Call my crazy but I don't love my leather jacket with my leather leggings.)
I kept things super neutral and simple here, but the options really are endless.
I linked my exact jacket below which is currently on sale. Hurry though because it's selling quick. I also linked the other option I had my eye on. It's also on sale.

Jacket: Nordstrom (Other one I had my eye on here. Also love this fun fringe oneAnd one more.) | Top: Target currently on clearance | Leggings: Aerie V similar to Spanx | Booties: Old (similar here) | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Lips: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague

What are your thoughts on a suede jacket? Do you have one? Do you love it? Tell me about it in the comments. I hope y'all have a great weekend! I am so happy tomorrow is Friday. I am also celebrating 2 birthdays this weekend so it will be nice to see some friends. This has been a long week. Thank you so much for stopping by and reading today's post.

Cardigan Top Trend

Happy Tuesday!
My goal was to get this post up last week, but with my trip to Vegas and it being non-stop that just didn't happen.
I'm done traveling for a couple weeks so I'm hoping to get back on a regular posting schedule. (Tuesday and Thursday with the occasional Wedding Wednesday.)
This is the first outfit I'm sharing from Paris. I have been seeing this cardigan as a regular sweater trend everywhere and finally decided to give it a try. My goal for Paris was to bring a lot of neutrals and this camel color definitely fit the bill. I actually really like this color and have my eye on a few other pieces.
I decided to pair it with white jeans (maybe not the best idea as they got a bit dirty) and my white mules.
This was the perfect outfit for our first full day exploring Paris. We went to Musee D'Orsay and walked all the way up to Notre Dame and then back down to our hotel. I was a little skeptical of my shoe choice, but they were actually SUPER comfy. (The white is no longer available, but I linked a black pair from the same brand.)

Sweater: Target | Jeans: Old Navy | Shoes: Target old (similar herehere, & here) | Sunnies: Old (similar here) | Purse: 3.1 Phillip Lim (small version here) | Lipstick: Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick

Thanksgiving Neutrals

Happy Tuesday friends!
I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week! I personally am so excited. I can't wait to eat all the yummy food and spend time with friends and family.
If you are still trying to figure out what to wear for the big day I've got ya covered.
This look is definitely super casual but super cozy.
Our Thanksgiving usually consists of the turkey trot in the morning ,followed by hanging with friends at Pete's Bar, (It's a Jacksonville thing. You can read about it here.) then dinner time and finally some black Friday shopping. I love that this look can take me through all the activities our day has in store. (Minus the turkey trot of course. )
I picked up this sweater during the Nsale and I'm so excited I can finally wear it. My boots are also from the Nsale last year. I paired these with white jeans to keep the neutral pallet going. Thankfully I don't like cranberry sauce so I don't really have to worry about spills. (Other than red wine.)
I've linked a couple other sweater options I love that would go perfectly with white jeans and these boots. The best news is you can still get all of these items in plenty of time for Thanksgiving next week! One less thing to worry about while you are picking up all the things you need to cook!

Sweater: Nordstrom (also love thisthis & this) | Jeans: Old Navy | Boots: Sam Edelman | Sunnies: Target | Earrings: Francesca's | Lipgloss: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lipgloss in Pillow Talk
If you dress up a little more for Thanksgiving make sure you check out the blog on Thursday. I'll be sharing another outfit that's a little more dressy.

Shake your Pom Poms

Has this seemed like the longest week to anyone else? I swear Monday and Tuesday were actually a whole week!
Today’s post would have been more appropriate on Tuesday for #shoesdaytuesday but oh well!
I mean how freaking cute are these?! The pom poms… I die. I love the fashion sneaker trend lately, and these are no exception. When I saw they were on MAJOR sale it was a no brainer. They are a little out there but, personally I think they are perfect. (I wish you could have seen J’s face when I pulled them out of the box! Hah #priceless) It all goes back to wearing what you love. If you think having big furry pom poms on your sneakers is fashionable, and fun go for it. And if your best friend, boyfriend, mom, or a stranger on the street, thinks you’re a little crazy that’s ok. Fashion to me is all about wearing what you love, and what makes you feel good.
With Labor Day just a little over a week away; I want to say this is a great summer look that can easily be transitioned to fall by just swapping your shorts for jeans.  I personally would do black denim with a white tank, and viola perfect fall outfit.

Tank: Topshop | Shorts: Nordstrom Rack (similar here & here) | Sweater: Target old (similar here & here) | Purse: 3.1 Phillip Lim | Shoes: Steve Madden | Sunnies: Quay Australia | Lipstick: Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick

Speaking of Labor Day do y’all have any fun plans? I am so looking forward to college football and lots of food.  I’d love to hear what you have planned and what you think about these shoes in the comments below.
