Transitional Maxi Part II

Disclaimer: Wearing all white sneakers and a long maxi dress when there was a torrential downpour is really not the best combination. #oops
Anyway, while the colors of this outfit might not scream fall I do live in the south and this is another great way to transition a maxi dress from summer to fall. Tying a chambray shirt over a maxi dress is a great and casual way to make it more Fall appropriate. I kept this outfit really casual with high top sneakers and a small bag. This would be great for running errands, grabbing brunch, or even a really laid-back happy hour. If chambray isn’t your thing, I also love a plaid shirt tied over a solid maxi dress for another no fuss look.

    1. Thank you! It's a dress. I love doing this for work with my backless or thin strap dresses!
