Straight Leg Jeans

Happy Galentine's Day!
It's super late, but I had to get a post up today.
I am really slacking on one of my February goals. :(
Anyway, let's talk about today's outfit.
I'm sure many of you are looking forward to Spring, but with all my travel to cold weather and that fact that it's been somewhat cold in FL (until this week) I've been wearing lots of winter attire.
I bought this vest last year and it is one of my favorites. It was around $30 and looks so much more expensive. (I've been asked more than a few times if it's real.)
I love that faux fur vests keep you warm without the full bulkiness of a jacket.
I also want to talk a minute to talk about these jeans.
I have been looking for a pair of straight leg jeans for a while and these were finally the perfect fit! Since I have bigger hips and thighs it's hard to find ones that don't end up looking like SUPER wide leg jeans. Not saying I don't like that look it's just not what I've been looking for. When I found these I was so excited. I have 2 more pairs in my cart. The best part is they are under $50!!! Do yourself a favor and get you a pair.

Sweater: H&M old (similar here, here, & here) | Vest: Target old (similar here, here & here) | Jeans: Old Navy | Shoes: Old (similar here & here) | Sunnies: Amazon | Necklace: Amazon | Lip Gloss: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lip Gloss in Pillow Talk

What are everyone's plans for tomorrow? Ours have changed a little. We are going to go out for dinner now. We don't have reservations so that should be interesting. I told J I don't care where we go as long as I can have a dirty martini. (They are my new favorite!!) hah
I hope everyone has a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!

Christmas Day Outfit Inspiration

Merry Christmas Eve!!
I cannot believe the big day is almost here! This year has flown by so quickly! What are your plans today? Are you relaxing and spending time with family/friends or are you running around like crazy picking up last minute gifts & wrapping them all?? We are definitely doing the second one. haha Every year I swear to myself that I am going to shop early and wrap things a week ahead of time. I'll be sure to let you know if that ever happens.
If you are super busy today and don't have time to plan an outfit for tomorrow I've got you covered. You probably have similar pieces in your closet or you could always pick up the exact pieces while you're out running around. haha
I have been wearing this plain non stop since I picked it up in November. It just screams Christmas to me. I am also OBSESSED with this vest. It's the perfect color and goes with everything. You can wear it well into January and February too! I would also highly suggest the Spanx leggings. These will help you look slim while eating an entire plate of Christmas cookies. (No judgement!) Top it off with a beanie to keep your ears warm while going from house to house. (If that's how your family does Christmas.)

Top: Old Navy | Vest: Target (similar here & here coat version here) | Leggings: Spanx | Booties: JustFab (JustFab is a subscription site. Similar here, here, & LOVE these) | Beanie: C.C. | Sunnies: Old (similar here & here) | Lipstick: Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy spending this time with loved ones! I also want to take this time to tell you I truly appreciate each and every one of you that visit the blog. I love putting posts together, trying new products, and finding deals & steals that you can wear over and over again.

Winter Neutrals

Happy Tuesday!
Today was technically my Monday and I have to say it definitely had all the Monday after vacation vibes!!
I will say talking to y'all about this outfit is probably the highlight of my day! Let's get to it, shall we?
Last week temps dipped pretty low here in Florida. I'm talking lows in the 30's and highs in the 50's. I knew it was the perfect time to break out my new faux fur vest. I have been dying to wear this bad boy since I got it back in October! It's definitely my favorite Fall purchase. You need to RUN to your local Target and pick one up for yourself. (Or, ya know, you could order it online here.) It's so luxe and expensive looking, but it rings in just under $40! (I seriously had someone ask me if it was real fur!!)
I styled it with all neutrals last week for this look. As most of you know I'm a HUGE fan of neutrals. The thing I really love about this outfit is that it's all different shades of whites & creams but they all work so well together. Sometimes when you try to put a monochromatic look together it doesn't turn out quite right. However, sometimes you get lucky and it turns out perfectly.

Top: H&M old (similar here, here, & here) | Vest: Target | Jeans: Old Navy | Beanie: C.C. | Boots: Old (similar here & here) | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Lipstick: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina

Stay tuned later this week for a few more gift guides. I have 2-3 more I want to put together  and I'm making it my goal to have them done this week! I'm also going to attempt a 5 on Friday this week. (Very ambitious!!)

Winter Wear

Happy hump day!
I can’t believe it’s almost February and that it’s still 80 degrees almost every day here in Florida. Since this should be the coldest time of year for us I wanted to share some winter outfits with y’all over the next couple weeks.

I actually wore this while visiting my family in NC over Christmas but, it works for the transitional time of year. Vests are great because they provide a decent amount of warmth and you won’t be as hot as you would be if you were wearing a coat. (I was sweating when my mom and I decided to visit museums this day.)
The main thing I love about this look is the way all the colors work so well together. I know white denim is supposed to be a NO-NO after Labor Day, however I think with the right pieces it can work year round. To me the white denim is what actually pulls all these colors together, and makes the outfit read vey wintery.

Sweater: H&M last year (similar here, here & here) | Jeans: Lulus old (similar here own and love these) | Vest: Forever 21 old (similar here, here love this) | Boots: Steve Madden last year (this year's identical version here) | Sunnies: Ray Ban | Purse: 3.1 Phillip Lim | Necklace: Forever 21 old (similar here & here) | Lipstick: Mac in Invite Intrigue with Too Faced Melted in Dream House layered on top

What’s the weather like where you live? I hope we get a little more cold weather before “spring” (aka summer) arrives here in Florida.

As always thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Sequin Leggings

Happy Thursday lovelies!
Hopefully everyone is still relaxing and enjoying some time off from work. If not, you’re almost to the long weekend where you can relax again.
Tuesday I showed you makeup and hair products for the big day, so today I have a full outfit post.
I love dressing up for NYE, but today I wanted to show you a more casual outfit for the holiday, in case your plans are low key.

These sequin leggings are THE best!! I bought them back in November and knew they would be great for work in December, Christmas parties, Christmas day, and New Year’s. These pants really make a statement so, to keep this casual, I thought a black top and a black fur vest for warmth.

Leggings*: Dillard's (My color is sold out online, but the copper is pretty close.) | Top: Forever 21 sold out (similar here) | Fur Vest: Forever 21 old (similar here*) | Shoes: Steve Madden | Lipstick: Nars in Cruella

I won’t be wearing this New Year’s Eve but it’s definitely a contender for New Year’s Day.
What are your plans for the big night? I would love to hear them.

Faux Fur

Hello lovlies and Happy Friday!
I’m so excited it’s almost the weekend. Do you have anything fun planned? I have a post for you all on Saturday and I’m pretty excited about it, so stay tuned.
As for today, I thought I would share this fabulous faux fur vest with y’all. I have shared it a million times on Instagram but never on here. I wore it this past weekend and it dawned on me it might be the last time I get to wear it until next fall/winter. I’m sure some of y’all will hate me or think I’m crazy for this comment but I’m really just not ready for spring/summer. Maybe it’s because there was a serious lack of cold weather this year. And the fact that I live in the wrong state for winter, but I feel hyped! Since it is almost springtime, now is the time to shop for winter staples like this. This one is not available online, but if you can find it in stores, it’s marked down 65%, making it a serious steal. I love the colors and the fact that it is SO warm. I seriously have to take it off sometimes because I start to sweat. Since it’s not available online, I linked an extremely similar one that is the same price as well as some others I love.

Vest: Dillard's (similar here also love this and this) | Sweater: H&M old (similar here and here) | Jeans: Lulus old (similar here) | Boots: DSW old (similar here and here)

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful Friday!
