2020 Sequins?

Last week I shared a more laid back Christmas/Holiday look and today I'm doing the exact opposite.
I know 2020 has been a crazy year full of staying home in lounge wear. While I love a good lounge wear set more than anything I really miss dressing up.
With the holidays upon us and NYE fast approaching, I started thinking about what I would be doing and more importantly what I would be wearing. I still don't know what we are doing, but I do know what I will be wearing. (Even if it's just downstairs to the living and dining room.)
I don't know why, but when I saw this dress I just had to have it. Something about the sleeves, the wrap front skirt, and the silver sequins just spoke to me. Add in that it was on sale for 50% off and I was sold! (Right now it's even cheaper than what I paid.)
I kept things super classic with a red lip and my favorite nude block heels. Maybe I'll switch things up and go with a bold pink on NYE. That's still TBD.
While NYE 2020 might not look like it normally does at least I will love my outfit when we kiss this crazy year goodbye and ring in a (hopefully) new and better one!

Dress: Anthropologie (also love this one & this one) | Shoes: Target | Lipstick: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso

I can't believe it's already time for me to be sharing NYE content. What are you doing for NYE this year? Even if you plan to stay in are you going to dress up? I'm sure we are all more than ready to say goodbye to 2020 and hope that 2021 has more normalcy in store.

P.S. Excuse the fact that I have like NO eyelashes in these photos. I always shoot with sunnies and clearly if I don't I need to put on falsies and a TON of eyeshadow. lol

  1. This dress is gorgeous on you! We're staying in for NYE but I'll still get dressed up and love this inspiration!

  2. Thank you so much! And I totally agree with you about dressing up even if you're just staying in! We still gotta look good to welcome the New Year!
